I do not demand much from an overnight. A clean bed and a shower is about it. The bed was there -- the shower was not - at least, not with hot water. If that had not been so I would have overlooked the scantily stocked room (it had sheets, towels and toilet paper, but not much else). The room was largish, but may have looked bigger because it had obviously been built to contain furniture. It had the aforementioned bed, bedside stands, 1 small table with 2 chairs, a tv and small fridge, so the essentials were there, and I do not mind open space and bare walls. The absence of water pressure and coffee in the room would garner a shrug. Lack of lighting on the outside stairs was surprising, but would not have bothered me much. The very crabby receptionist during check-in, who was miffed because it was still 20 minutes until check-in time and they had not cleaned any of the rooms for the day would have just been an adornment to the trip. But, really, add to all that a cold shower in the morning and I become just a bit prickly. We will not be staying here again.
