Great location, great room & breakfast available. Slightly concerned that 20 minutes after arriving to our room someone else unlocked our door and said they’d been assigned this room. After asking the staff what happened they said “it doesn’t usually happen” but never apologised

Great staff
first two nights spent in room for 6 - 2. floor towards playground. Very noisy at night until app. 11pm - after that ok. Third night in a very nice comfortable new room in new building on 4th floor - still noise from yard, but very high standard room with own bath and toilet and only 3 beds. Service at front desk very good and friendly.

Overall a nice stay
This is a good hostel in Berlin. Everything worked out as expected. The only concern is the numerous groups of youth staying in the hostel that are unbelievably loud until quite late and start again early in the morning. That means you can actually sleep slightly less than 8 hours because the rooms are not soundproof. The hostel also lack a power socket close to the bed. Otherwise there was no issues. The breakfast exceeded my expectation with a nice variety of standard breakfast items.

Good value for price.
We loved the clean room and the BREAKFAST!!! There was an issue with heating but they changed the room immediately. One downside was that there are no towels in the room and you have to bring your own or buy new if you didn't check for that like we didn't :(

Full of young kids
The hostel is full of kids under the age of 18. It seems like they have heaps of school trips all the time. This is a terrible environment for young adults who are in Berlin to party. We are surrounded by children (who are very rude!)

Cost Effective no thrills hotel
We were looking for cheap accommodation when attending a festival in Berlin. This place was good value and comfortable enough for us. It was 10 mins from the nearest transport node which was great and the included breakfast was great value. Our room had a bunk bed, table and its own bathroom.

The room was nice, I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm. I only stayed one night, but it was comfortable. The buffet style breakfast was enjoyable. The only downside is that there is no elevator, and my room was on the 3rd floor.

Nice place for budget travelers with car
It was generally a nice and rather cheap stay. With free parking and close enough to the center. I would suggest this place to budget travelers who are going to Berlin by car.

Close to the center clean and safe hostel
The hostel was situated close to the city center with all the sites within walking distance. Inside the room was nice and clean and comfortable. Our room was on the 5th floor, very quiet and facing the courtyard. Since we arrived earlier than the check-in time we were able to store our belongings in the storage room free of charge. If you do stay here, bring towels! Breakfast was very good: a wide selection of breads, some cheese and meat, coffee/tea/hot chocolate, some juice, yogurt, cereal/musli and fruit. Overall the staff are nice and friendly.

Not a friendly front desk. Delicious breakfast.
The front desk people are not welcoming. No greeting, and it seems like they don't like thier job. The lady that works in the kitchen was wonderful. Very helpful and very sweet.

Decent and spacious hostel
Because of my flight, it was around midnight when I checked in, but the process was smooth and the person at reception was thoughtful enought to give me an empty room! There were 2 sinks with mirrors and outlets in a 5-6 person room, and the lockers big enough to fit in my carrier. It's a large, slightly old-fashioned hostel, meaning you have to cover your own sheets, but no biggy. No personal oulet next to the beds but plenty in the room, public showers and toilets were spacious and warm, food was good. A lot of guests were families or students on school trips. Overall, I had a great stay, and definitely will come back if I return to Berlin on a budget:)

there is clean place and very comfort place here
the cleanses of place was very good and TV room was extermly good also breakfast was fine , services was good and also caring staff , there was a bus stop just around corner which can get you to city by number 29 , this bus drop you off next to check point charlie , easy access to airport via public transport too

Great location with a great breakfast
Staff was very helpful and friendly. I called in advance to inform of a late check-in and they sent me detailed instructions for getting to the hostel with public transportation (there's a bus stop right on the corner of the hostel). Great location, it's close to Tiergarten and a nice stroll to Brandenburg Gate. The room (dorm for 4 people) was very spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Also the bathroom area was very clean. Breakfast really impressed me both for the quality and variety.
