To allow you to enjoy every single day of you vacations, avoid traffic jams and/or enjoy the best airfares, we allow guests to check-in and check-out every day of the week,

Check-ins are upon appointment only, between 4-8pm. Catherine or Philippe will welcome each guest in person, and introduce both the apartment and our beloved town, therefore we kindly ask that you inform them (via the website email) of your expected time of arrival as soon as possible so an appointment can be set up.

The Riviera Beach Terrace is synonymous with a vacation in the sun, feet in the water!
… Take advantage of the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean: from sunrise to sunset, from breakfast to dinner, which you will take quietly on the large terrace…
Cross the famous Promenade du Soleil: the beach is waiting for you!

The apartment is composed of :

- a bedroom (queen size bed, 160cm) with two French windows opening onto the terrace,

- a large living room with a sofa that converts into a queen size bed (160cm). It is possible to have a folding bed (for a child/teen) 90cm.

To allow our vacationers to travel light, linen, shower towels and beach towels are provided. Cleaning fees will be asked upon your arrival (cash only). 2024 fare: €80

- a shower room (with washing machine and a small freezer),

- an equipped kitchen (oven , dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and fridge),

- a separate toilet,

- a large terrasse facing the sea and the beach.

From the living room, you will have the choice between the balcony and the terrace which both have a magnificent view of the beach;

The apartment is equipped with air conditioning so your nights can be of the desired temperature.

The apartment is located on the 1st floor (1 floor above ground/street level) of a residence from the beginning of the 19th century, with a magnificent original elevator. The residence is located in the historic district of Menton with its colorful houses. About 100 meters away are the Cocteau Museum and the Old Market of Menton where you will find all the fresh products you need: meat & fish, fruit & vegetables, breads & cheeses as well as various local products (barbajuan, olives, etc.) . The city center with its convenience stores, banks and various shops is not much further;

Nice Côte d´Azur Airport is 25 km away. Connections (express shuttle, train from Nice city center, taxis) are frequent. The express shuttle stop (bus 110) is called enton Menton Casino ’and is only around 200 meters away, the train station is around 15 minutes on foot and taxis will drop you off of course in front of the residence. For holidaymakers who come by car, there is the possibility of renting a parking space at the ‘parking des Sablettes’, which is about 150 meters from the residence.

The region is rich in visits and Menton is a privileged location to see them all: Nice (about 1 hour by car / bus or 30 minutes by train); Monaco (15 minutes by bus, 8 minutes by train); Cannes (1 hour by car); San Remo in Italy (30mn by car or 20mn by train)… and the no less famous neighboring villages: Sospel, Gorbio, Eze village… for which there are many buses.

Menton bliss
Property is beachfront centrally located, with 2 large beautiful rooms facing the sea that can act as bedrooms, although one is the lounge. Large balcony accessible by both of these rooms. Our host Catherine was helpful and responsive. Our only downside was the unexpected 80 euro cleaning fee. Highly recommend for 2 or 3 people

The apartment had the most terrific view of the Mediterranean and Menton. Lovely, large second floor terrace. The rooms were airy and spacious. It was a special place to stay. Great communication from the time we booked to the end. Catherine responded quickly and was easy to reach. She provided us with a lot of recommendations including travel from the airport. The unit was very spacious and had a fantastic view of the sea and sunrise. The balcony was large and easily accomdate 4 people. The market and old town was a block away which worked out perfectly. Fridge, stove, coffee machine and washing machine worked very well. Have past on our experience with other family members and would definitely book again. Would recommend.

A slice of paradise
Catherine’s cozy apartment on the coast of Menton is an absolute gem! The place is spacious, clean, and beautiful! A private terrace over looks the Mediterranean and is perfectly located next to restaurants, shops, and access to the beach! 10/10 place to stay! On top of that, Catherine is an amazing host! Very friendly, helpful, and nice to chat with! She helped us plan some spots to visit as well as coordinate a taxi for our very early morning departure. I would absolutely come back!

Ideal location on waterfront and next to market. Bus stop 50 yds. Great shopping and restaurants all nearby. Excellent market open every day is 100 yds. Apartment is large with terrace onto waterfront. Building manager (Catherine) is wonderful - helpful, knowledgeable and excellent English. She can arrange underground parking about 200 yds away. We have stayed in Menton on 6 different occasions and overall this is the best apartment we have ever had!

As close to the water as you can get and although the street was busy when you closed the doors at night you could hear nothing. Tiny kitchen is in serious need of a reno. Unplug rhe toaster to make coffee. Unplug both to use microwave. Bed was omfortable, but small No money wasted on decorating or pillows. Forget any English TV Chanels So nice location and clean Must be clean as not only did they ask for a cleaning fee of 70e bur then told us we needed to clean it before we left T

The unobstructed views from this luxurious, large one-bedroom are without parallel, and it is situated on the best waterfront block in old Menton, You don’t have to walk far to satisfy any shopping needs—charcuterie, wine, cheese and bread are steps away—and no car is necessary. Dating from 1900, the apartment is filled with beautiful period details, yet also furnished with top-of-the-line appliances: air-conditioning, dishwasher, wifi reception, and washing machine. The large shower stall has ample hot water and pressure, and the oversized terrace, with its retractable sunshade, is perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We stayed only a week, but it would have been easy to pass a whole month across the street from the beach, and the sleep-sofa in the living room could certainly have handled kids or a second couple. Catherine and Phillippe are warm, gracious hosts with perfect English. They were able to let us check-in early and even helped find a nearby lab for obligatory Covid tests before returning to the U.S. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay in Menton with great view.
This was a great one bedroom apartment across from the rocky beach with an incredible view. It is within walking distance of lots of great restaurants and shops. There is a patio with an awning. The kitchen was well stocked and they even keep a few food items handy like pasta, tea, coffee, olive oil, etc. They just ask that you leave or replace them so there are some for the next people. The bed was very comfortable. There is also a great daily morning market just a couple of blocks away where you can get your meats, cheeses, vegetables, etc.. And there is a small grocery also fairly close. The property managers were very helpful and even alerted us, then helped us deal with a sudden train strike. Catherine even came and got us at the bus stop. Her husband also dropped by and left us an umbrella as it was raining. We appreciated the assistance. Her instructions and recommendations were also most helpful. I would definitely stay here again. One warning: although it is very quiet with the windows closed, there is a fair amount of traffic noise as you are right above the main beachside road. But the view and lovely apartment more than make up for that.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at the apartment. Catherine was extremely helpful. She arranged car parking for us when we arrived. I don't advise using a car while visiting. Parking anywhere in the area is difficult and the traffic is heavy. Inexpensive public transportation is available. The apartment is perfectly located. Everything to see and do in Menton is within walking distance of the apartment. Many restaurants are directly on the beach or within one block in old town. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to experience the French Riviera in a relatively quiet location away from the bussle of nearby Nice.

Fantastic location
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The landlords were extraordinarily helpful and nice. Especially the terrace with sea view was a great plus. Kitchen and bathroom are a bit our of date and could do with a bit of a makeover, especially if one would really want to prepare meals. But they were clean and perfectly functionable - so not a big thing. I would definitely come back!
