The hotel sign was on the ground making it hard to find the entrance. The place is being renovated, and the old rooms are not being properly maintained. Our bathroom floor was filthy. We asked for our to be cleaned, and I think they mopped. But it needed scrubbing.

When we arrived and checked in we were greeted at the front desk by a very professional friendly gentleman, named Jay. Upon entering the room however, the bathroom had black mold and mildew in the shower/tub tiles and bathroom. We called Jay at the front desk and he came to look at the room with someone from housekeeping. Housekeeping was extremely rude and denied that the black mold was mildew or mold. We asked her what the black "mold" was then, since the caulking was not white and it smelled of mildew, and she said it was fine and was very angry at us. The front desk manager, Jay however gave us another room immediately which was clean and comfortable. We definitely would have left had it not been for changing our room. We booked the Comfort Inn based on reviews for cleanliness.......however we did not get that experience and felt very awkward getting reprimanded by under-par housekeeping. Jay saved our stay.

The staff were incredibly kind and courteous. The facility was undergoing construction - understandable. But the pictures are very deceiving. The hotel is quite worn and needs a facelift. The room was clean - a major bonus. But the entrance - parking was not ideal. An old scrapped sign near the entrance on the ground. You could hear the folks above your room walking around. Overall, it did the job. The staff again was very cordial. But would probably look elsewhere next time.
