I had a very enjoyable stay here! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The place was centrally located. It had the most beautiful view of the city and the surrounding rolling hills from the breakfast area and my room. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again!

A gem in Montalcino!
Our stay at B&B Le Scalette di Piazza in Montalcino was excellent. The owners were friendly and helpful, providing parking permits and facilitating our luggage drop-off. The room was lovely and comfortable, with amazing views of the countryside. I would have happily stayed there for an entire week just to wake up to that view daily! We had read reviews about the noise from the bell tower and noted the ear plugs provided in the bathroom. However, we did not use the ear plugs and slept great. I did not notice any chiming (and I am a light sleeper!). Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fruits, pastries, yogurts, and deli meats provided in addition to coffee and juice. Both check-in and check-out went smoothly. We had a wonderful time and would love to return the next time we are in Montalcino!

Stayed at B&B Scalette for the Benvenuto Brunello festival. It was absolutely perfect. Excellent service and a very cozy place. Breakfast overlooking the hills of Tuscany was a real treat as well!

WARNING: MAJOR STAIRS TO BE CLIMBED
There are major STAIRS to be CLIMBED to be reach the property...cannot be done with luggage...plus STAIRS inside the property. The property is bare bones, not a great breakfast, & person that does the Check in was not there even though we had scheduled a check in time in advance. Parking is very, very far away and includes another 60 additional steps. If you have any physical challenges, young children, or need your luggage...this is NOT for you.
