Just came back from a lovely week at Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica with family. Great facilities, awesome beach, friendly staff, excellent all around. I strongly recommend this option for those looking for a caribbean experience. An opportunity for improvement is the food quality at the italian restaurant La Dolce Vita, where our meal appeared poorly cooked and tasted below average. This is minor, since the food at the buffett is beyond delicious.

Did not like -- Restaurants not available to all guests or conciere not accommodating for new check in clients Noise in section 18 from the disco at night after 10 pm wheelchair accessibility for older guest was difficult even after explaining if the rooms can be changed as we booked through travelocity Overall the trip was good as this was my 2nd time in 4years at this resort. It’s a very nice hotel to stay at but needs to improve on entertainment and activities for guest during night life. The only thing to look forward to is the entertainment by the pool everyday, however, pool closes at 6pm which is very early. There’s not much to do on the resort after 6pm besides eat. They attempted to have an all white party but there was no entertainment or DJ. Everyone was just standing around. Food was decent. Did not have authentic Jamaican food. I rate it a 5 out of 10 mainly because it’s a nice hotel.

Amazing customer service from everyone, checking in and out was on point very efficient and fast .the buffet was great , a variety of delicious meal! The room was very clean and smells good, safe for babies , if you are looking for an all inclusive this is it (BAHIA).

Our stay was good, but some things could be better. For example, after 6pm there were no place to get something to drink unless you went to the main lobby. Why don't they have a booth at least two centrally located. Asking for information like where could we find "X" we got three different answers nad two were wrong. Train the staff better to know what's going on. On the beach, there was an exlusive hut to get someting to drink, we didn't sign-up for it, so we had to go 500 feet to the kiddy pool to get something to drink, then had to walk back in the hot sun to our chairs. We had a girl come around once to ask us if we wanted something to drink. ONCE. There should be a hut for drinks and food for EVERYONE. It\s all inclusive. Why don't we have information in the room about things around the resort, we have to download the app. I understand it's a future thing, but it was not good.

The overall experience was good but really what stood out was the two staff members in the restaurant really changed our experience their names were (Tracey and Decoda) so accommodating and pleasant. More then a handful of employees around wore just rude and or walking around with attitudes. I assume maybe because we wasn’t white. We made sure to tip everyone we asked for help. Level of speed was not there very slow and on their time. I wish they had more authentic food everything was Americanized

The location is amazing and the overall facilities were good. The buildings are a bit older but everything was in good repair and worked well. A majority of the staff was friendly and willing to assist. The regular buffets were hit or miss and the overall food quality was inconsistent. Some of the food stations were easily overwhelmed and the one person assigned to them did the best they could. The buffet locations all close 30 minutes earlier than stated and I and a number of other guests that did not know this were a bit annoyed. This situation was consistent over the course of our stay. The restaurants that required scheduling were good and the service was timely and the staff was attentive. Be aware that the bars especially the one on the third floor lobby(outside terrace) give preference to visitors who tip so bring along some extra spending cash (singles worked well.)

The food quantities are very small. The items are finished not even halfway through the time of breakfast. Service is not good. Very noisy late night and early morning.
