I don't like resorts and this hotel was new to my wife and I. It was conveniently located on the strip and allowed us to walk the strip without need of a taxi. It is also only 10 minutes from the airport. The facility is in excellent condition and the food was great. We used the bar, of which the bartender knew her way around a pour. Also used the spa and had a fantastic massage. We highly recommend this hotel and have been raving about it since we returned home.

It of course can't compete in facilities that the big resort hotels provide but it was a very pleasant place to stay - large rooms relatively recently renovated, with a balcony, a small elevated pool, a good restaurant, pleasant staff, and close to the nicely landscaped Harmony Beach which has security to regulate entrance. It is in the rather 'interestingly' named Hip Strip district so there is a limited choice of restaurants nearby if you don't wish to dine at the hotel.

The staff are SUPER friendly & helpful. We loved our stay thanks to them and the chef who prepared our meals. We had a working fridge and A/C in our room. We had a beautiful view of the beach. We were able to bring our friends & family over to the hotel without any hassles. Loved this hotel.

We booked last minute for a one-night stay in Montego Bay. Great location on the bustling Strip across from the beach, walking distance to restaurants and shops, and a short drive to the airport. Completely renovated with a sleek, modern, inviting decor. Although on a busy main street, inside is quiet and peaceful. Rooms are spacious with large balconies and comfy beds. The lobby and patio are perfect for drinks and conversation. The reasonable room rate includes free, secure parking and a delicious Jamaican or continental breakfast. I recommend for business travellers and vacationers who like to be close to the city action.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of everything. Super walkable. Great amenities. Modern and updated. I stayed here during low season and the price is phenomenal compared to other hotels in the area. Definitely the best value you can get.

Hotel 39 is a great small hotel that has been recently renovated. They are not all inclusive but the breakfast is included and they have a small bar and restaurant. Wait time will be a little longer but that’s expected with Jamaican dining and again they are small. The staff are very attentive and courteous. The rooms are very spacious with nice balcony and modern build. Highly recommend if you want to be conveniently located to everything Montego Bay. Definitely a hidden gem that needs more marketing.

It wasn’t what we thought. Didn’t realize the place was under renovations, they were out of a lot of drinks and food options. One morning the server was terrible so we left to eat at the diner next door. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Pool was up many stairs and no bathroom or drink servixe up there.

My daughter Courtney and I had the pleasure of staying here for my birthday. . We had an excellent time and between the both us , I’m pretty sure we met everyone from the front desk to the chef , the maintenance, housekeeping and the waitress at the restaurant . They all get five stars and above from us. They were extraordinarily nice and we always felt more than welcome. We would love to stay here again the next time we visit. . Their hospitality will definitely be missed. Blessings!
