Overall the property was nice, however, this is not a 5 star resort as far as USA standards. When we first arrived we were forced to sit down for an hour long time share tour which we kept saying we didn’t want to do but we felt obligated, as the staff just kept insisting. It was very odd and frustrating, especially when you know you cannot afford it. At first glance the facilities are nice, however, if you look for more than a few seconds you can see tiles are loose, paint is patched poorly, fixtures are crooked, and it seems like everything was purchased at IKEA. Our room door handle kept falling off and at one point we couldn't leave our room, and the staff took hours to come and fix it. We also had hairs all over the room which were not ours, and it looked like dead bug stains on the sheets. We were also told if we lost our room bracelets we would need to pay $150 for each bracelet lost; this is tough because you go on excursions so it gives you anxiety about losing them. You also need to pay if you lose your beach towel. Beach is very rocky and shallow, you can’t swim. The staff are only nice if you tip them and they expect tips for literally everything. So many times the bar tenders looked annoyed when you ordered a drink. There was one bartender at the sports bar who was wonderful and made sure the sports team we liked was on every night which was wonderful. Overall though the people seemed rude and did not really want to help you. I had fun but would not go back.

I booked two rooms for my family, one with privileged suite and other with ocean view. During check-in, I paid extra to upgrade the ocean view room with privileged service on the promise of getting free upgrade to privileged suites. But I never got one, inspite of checking with front desk every single day. The privileged service was rarely used, and I requested for a refund during the feedback session. They promised to address the issue and get back to me, but so far no response.

I was greeted by a premium staff who offered us premium breakfast and to my surprise they were trying to sell us membership. They wasted almost a day out of my two days stay and from that moment I regret booking this hotel. It was pretty expensive for two days and I did not get to take my kids to the water park to enjoy themselves. Check-in was very lengthy. Very poor service at both restaurants that I tried. This was a wasted time and money. Would not go back.

I liked the entertainment, especially at night. There was always something to do and the live band each night was great. The food at the buffet was average, but I enjoyed the food at Sugarcane restaurant and I liked the ice cream and coffee shops. The room and bathroom layouts were nice. The beach was small, with not much area to swim but you could walk out for about 250 yards with the water still at your ankle which was cool. There were a few hiccups during our stay which the guest services manager tried to address and he even reached out after we left which I appreciated.

I liked the friendliness of the people like rajay, Akeem, Britana . They were nice especially Rajay. Honest review: the beach is unswimmable there are rocks everywhere and shallow. The property was opened in 2019 and rooms could use minor wear and tear updates.. nothing major. Beds are Firm! Hot tubs on property do not work. Told management. Nothing changed in 7 days. The food was good. The restaurant reservation are hard to make unless you tell the front desk to help you apparently it’s very fun waking up 7:58 am to book it . The spots fill up SO Fast and Eden Ocean bay guests come use the restaurants. I didn’t like that. The room service was hard to reach by phone and the app was not working properly. They cleaned our room and didn’t bring us ANY. Towels and took our towels. Overall the people were nice but the level of service I am accustomed to was lacking and I feel bad because Jamaicans are super nice. I learned that most people do not get educated beyond 11 grade unless their parents are rich. This really makes my heart sad. But that’s irrelevant. Overall, I would not return to Jamaica.

Beautiful place just not much too really do on resort. The bowling has 4 lanes and always packed( wasnt able to get a chance to olace)family lounge dont got all pieces to games. Pool entertainment is repetitive so becomes boring after couple days( entertainers low energy). And drinks suck there strong sugar sugar tasting. Last thing location sucks so far from everything nothing to do outside resort beside excursions.
