I will not recommend this resort to anyone. The manager… I believe they said his name was SHAWN MOSES… probably the most unprofessional manager I ever met. There are so many issues with the hotel. But, the fact that the manager refused to meet us upon checking in to discuss an issue with the rooms we booked was a the start of it all. The rooms were poorly lit and clustered ..newly renovated meant freshly painted on the outside. Bathroom shower door can’t closed properly… so, water kept flowing onto the floor whenever we took a shower. The circuit breaker tripped every time my wife used the hair dry (the same one they provided). The air conditioning unit stopped working at one point. The Diamond Club (which we were) restaurants ran out of certain items on the menu (mind you they opened for dinner at 6 and we had 7:30 reservations). Now this was the one that took the cake! The Friday before we left.. my wife went to shower… guess what.. NO HOT WATER! The front desk didn’t even know until I called (at least that’s what the said). That was at 7 am. We were told it should be resolved by 5 pm. I saw Mr. Shawn Moses around 5pm in the lobby. He was telling another guest that it was an island wide issue with the hot water. I asked him about what he was telling the guest (lies).. that it seems to be a property issue.. not an island issue. His reply was that he wasn’t an engineer … he don’t know. I had already checked with the RIU next door. They had no issue with hot water. DON’T GO!

The staff were amazing. Bring cash because the ATM’s don’t always work and sometimes take your card and you will not get it back. The seafood restaurant had the best food. If you can afford it the swim up room is definitely worth the extra money. Diamond club is also worth the extra money. Carla and Carlos were are butlers and they were amazing. We would definitely recommend the Royalton for the service. We are usually one and done but the service here was so amazing we will definitely be back.

We were not pleased with the view we got, changed our room but weren't happy with the size bathroom was very small, the toilet was shaking, we lost power our breaker chipped and on the first night, we got disconnected from the television. One male housekeeper was very rude but did,not get his name. Big up to the poolside bar attendants they were all pleasant also Sassy with the verrry long name. Outside of these issues, I had a wonderful time Independence night was turnt up it was fabulous, and we enjoyed it.

I tried to reach the property for over 2 weeks and could never reach anyone at the front desk. I tried emailing and nobody responded back. I tried reaching out through the booking app no response. Checked in my room was wrong and my accommodation I requested wasn’t there! Spoke to a manager he didn’t care and did nothing to accommodate all the issues I had! Guest services did correct everything and made my birthday special! The resort is really nice but reaching then is a dead end!!!

Overall my stay was okay staff and service were good i loved the private beach that was a good bonus. the food was okay the buffet was a hit or miss same for the specialty restaurants, one night we went to the steakhouse and most of the items were unavailable so that was disappointing.

Staff was great! Very genuine & very accmodating to unforeseen circumstances! I think a KFC excursion is the only thing missing from what is offered. Great option for fun and relaxation everywhere u turn. My least favorite part of my trip was the difficulty of booking restaurants on site @ the resort. A woman named Shannon went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get a reservation at a restaurant I was already Tosha’s been booked to the end of my trip. I didn’t want buffet food as much as I had it but I will say the staff there took care of me so much I didn’t mind. I told chef wat I needed and he made it happen. Great trip, remain humble & u won’t be dissapointed !

We stayed Diamond Club which is the way to go. Tessalee and Ardley took very great care of us. Beach was lovely, loved the energetic vibes the only downpart was the food. It was a lot of nothing as i expected so it didn't leave a damper on my trip.
