A slice of paradise located in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a street and top of the hill, with panoramic views of the hills stretching for miles from the expansive patio.

Living Space
This 1,440 square foot home has been lovingly maintained and updated by its owners and offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and refinished hardwood floors. Enter through the Dutch-door, kick off your shoes in the separate, enclosed entry and get comfortable. In the living room a cozy sofa with large chaise is situated in front of the TV along with an ottoman for another casual seating option. The sofa folds out into a full/double size sleeper. The wood stove is no longer a functional fire source but battery-operated candles give off a nice ambient glow.

Kitchen and Dining
The fully-equipped kitchen has a conventional drip coffee maker with an additional single cup Keurig style option and other small appliances including a blender, electric tea kettle and a toaster oven. The easy-clean flat top electric stove top has five burners.
Stainless steel appliances, tiled backsplash and solid counters adorn the freshly remodeled kitchen. A large undermount sink makes cleanup a breeze. A large pass-through visually connects the kitchen and the dining area and on the kitchen side, a bar height table and stools make for a casual kitchen seating option. Both the kitchen and dining area have convenient sliding doors to the back patio outdoor seating area and BBQ grill. Beautiful views of nearby hills can be enjoyed from the entire back yard area.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, direct access to the back yard, an armoire for storage and an en suite bathroom with a tiled steam shower
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and a small desk with a chair.
Bedroom #3 has a full/double bed.
Two of the bedrooms have plush-down comforters with duvet covers and the third bedroom has a down-alternative comforter inside the duvet cover.
The full hall bath has a shower-over-tub.

The back yard has stunning, wall-block multi-level terracing, covered patio, additional view patio and fruit trees is a great place for entertaining or just relaxing while enjoying the gorgeous views. Large, landscaped 17,800 sf lot allows space for everyone and loads of privacy. A propane BBQ grill is on hand for fun cookouts.

Easy access to Highways 1 & 68. Conveniently located to restaurants, services & shopping around the Monterey Peninsula.

Sorry, Gather and Rest is not a pet-friendly home.

Off-street parking is available in the driveway and in the 2-car garage. A full size washer and dryer are located in the garage.

A Perfect Stay for the Laguna Seca Weather Tech Race Track.
This Property was a perfect place to stay for our Laguna Seca Weather Tech Race Track / Family Trip. The driveway had enough space to accommodate a full size trailer and 2 full-size Trucks. The backyard had enough space for our toddlers to enjoy scooters. We will definitely stay here again for the next track day.

Stayed in the Gather and Rest house for the Thanksgiving holidays. Since I was working in Salinas, I was pleased with the distance from my workplace, as well as the close proximity of Monterey and the surrounding area. The views from the backyard were awesome and the home was comfortable for all.

Great option for Laguna Seca and Monterey area
We stayed for a three-day weekend while attending an event at Laguna Seca and were very happy with the home. You'll have a hard time finding a better location if you visit the track daily. The host communicated well and the home was as nice in person as it appears in the pictures. The home was recently renovated with new appliances and furniture. The backyard was very spacious, clean, and private. I highly recommend and would gladly stay there again.
