Gorgeous, newly remodeled Contemporary Big Sur-Style Guest House with private Hot Tub, 2 decks, gas fire table and chat set. It feels both open and private with a bank of windows from end to end that open up to views of Carmel Valley, Carmel River Beach and Point Lobos. After gently descending 22 well-lit and landscaped redwood stairs to the lower level, you will enter a beautiful, private landscaped yard with views overlooking a canopy of trees with virtually no direct view of other houses! This 930 sf ground floor Guest House has a large living room, large Master Bedroom that includes an office area with a copier/printer, a Master Closet with full-sized Washer/Dryer, and views of Point Lobos. You may never leave the bed! There is a Main House above it. Additional sound-proofing has been added both to the ceiling as well as new flooring in the Main house with commercial insulation which was added in December 2022. This newly renovated home is fresh, clean and uncluttered with an updated Big Sur lodge influence and New Everything!

The Living Room has a Queen Sleeper/ Sofa and the Full-Sized Murphy Bed doubles as a writing table. Enjoy an adult beverage while whipping up a snack or meal from the Kitchenette with 2 large capacity Microwave/ Convection Oven and Convection Oven/ Air-Fryer with 2-burner Hot Plates with Granite Island seating. The large private yard (1500 sf) has 2 outdoor decks and is fully fenced and landscaped with garden lighting. The deck outside the master bedroom has views of Point Lobos from the new Hot Tub! The second deck has a romantic gas Fire-Chat Set to stay warm while counting the stars. Well behaved dogs are welcome as the yard is fully fenced and the wood floors are easy to keep clean.

There are No Stock Photos! 10% discount will be applied for stays of 30-days or more as Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) is no longer required. Just outside the Carmel-by-the-Sea city limits in the Coastal Zone, this property is not subject to Carmel or the County Short Term Rental restrictions.

Property is right off Hwy 1 and an easy 1 mile from the quintessential Village of Carmel-by-the-Sea. The Guest House is on the ground-level of the property. It shares a ceiling with the Main House occupying the 1st and 2nd floors above it. It has it's own stairway and entry and is entirely SEPARATE though conversations are audible if both parties from the Main House and Guest House are out on the deck together. There is lots of light from windows with a big indoor/ outdoor open feel. Crestview is perfect for a family or romantic Vacation or remote Work/ Study Retreat. New to VRBO in 2021!

The Guest House (lower level) is on the ground floor with a Main House occupying the 1st and 2nd floors above it (2 flights of stairs). The Main House (2200 sf, 3 BR/ 3 BA) on upper level, may be rented with the Guest House, if available, and the units can be adjoined. Lovely flat in quiet location close to it all
We had a wonderful stay at this bright, clean, and well-appointed flat. Especially enjoyed the private hot tub and the very comfortable bed - slept great! It was great to be a short drive from downtown Carmel, but far enough away to be quiet and to have parking available always. Time in Big Sur, Point Lobos, beaches were highlights. Great communication and responsiveness by host and property manager. Thanks so much!

Callie was very communicative and great to correspond with. The place was cozy and clean. It was a great place to hang out inside during the rain and the fire pit was great for enjoying outside with some wine. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Amazing stay!
We booked this suite along with the rest of the larger house for our wedding weekend. It was the perfect location and beautiful home. It was spacious enough for our group of 9 and also held several get togethers for our wedding. The hot tub was an amazing added bonus! This was the perfect location!

Great flat for a family with awesome hot tub
We stayed in Carmel close to 4 weeks with a family of 5. the Appartement is absolutely perfect (2 beds and a sleeping sofa) Super well equipped. Hot tub was a big win since Carmel does get foggy / cold some days. The Appartement is well connected to the highway, so you are quickly everywhere. Bewch, Monterey and Carmel valley. Pls note, there are two units and there is another Appartement on top so you share the house. Which was no problem since there are enough parking spaces, huge property with different a tries etc. Callie and Susan ar(and Dori) are simply awesome. Everything was provided and got stocked up again and again. 5-5 easy

Lovely cottage in Carmel
Overall the place is great. Lots of room, well stocked kitchen, nice decorations and outdoor space was very good and private for a tri-plex. The only two downsides was the 5PM check-in which is late in the day for a typical arrival and there is no access from the neighborhood into Carmel without driving on HWY 1. This makes walking or biking into town very difficult.

This guest house was amazing. Very comfortable bed beautiful kitchen and amazing views. The house even has a hot tub and fire pit. Kitchen has everything you need. This is a great place to stay, I highly recommend the property.

Secluded, elegant and close to amenities
This property is all you want in a VRBO. Pristine, equipped with all the comforts of your own home, elegantly decorated, in a private cup-de-sac, in an upscale neighborhood, with incredible beach views, a responsive owner and did I mention you own hot tub? We are looking forward to coming back and visiting Carmel and Monterey while staying here.

Quiet get away
Perfect place to stay to see our daughter at DLI. She was able to stay with us for the weekend and found the Murphy bed comfortable. The kitchen & living room tables were perfect for playing family games that we brought with us and the grill and hot tub were awesome. Location worked well to explore Big Sur & Monterey. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again if we came back.

Nice property and good location
The property was very clean, nicely decorated and an incredible view. The owners Susan and Callie were very conscientious and responsive to our needs. There are 22 steps down to the property from the street which we did not realize which made carrying luggage a little difficult, especially in the pouring rain. I recommend this property.

Wonderful Getaway!
We had a great stay at Callie's place! Callie was very accommodating. The location was a very short drive to downtown Carmel and also Monterey. We explored nearby Point Lobos, which Callie gave us some info on. Her place had everything we could need. We stayed there with our 10 year old son and it was a perfect space for all of us. We would definitely come again!

Another wonderful stay
Second week at this property. We enjoyed it so much in September we wanted to re-book as soon as we could. Very convenient to all of the sights and in a quiet neighborhood. We love the comfy bed and lots of doors and windows to enjoy the view and fresh air. Simply put: OUTSTANDING!!!
Where to begin??? I can honestly say that this property has every single thing you can possibly need for a stellar stay. Location✔️less than 10-minute drive to downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. View✔️you can see Carmel Bay from the deck and it’s quite private. Amenities✔️✔️Callie thought of everything, literally. And great linens, towels, shampoo/conditioner, the works! But the best part of all, a five-star owner who provided loads of recommendations in advance and she truly cares about her guests and their comfort. Can’t possibly recommend this place enough. The upstairs is a separate rental so there can be a bit of noise but we never saw the other guests. Wish we had the time to really use the deck, equipped with a hot tub and fire pit. Next time. This place is A-MA-ZING!!!!!

perfect get-a-waay
This lower level feels and performs like a condo. Adorable, and updated and the hot tub is fabulous. The host is always available and the size is perfect. Laundry is wonderful and w/newer machines, plenty of fluffy towels, and quiet...plus they offer many TV options - Thank you. My husband was able to watch the Badger Game. Fabulous stay!
