Addequate for simple close to airport lodging. Clean, up to date, comfortable. But while close to airport, actually walkable, we werent told there was no transport so we had to hire an Uber. We didnt feel safe, as seniors, walking on a dark road, schlepping large suitcases at 4am, to the airport.

We have stayed before and have better memories than our current stay. The last time we had a better room and breakfast was included. But times change. We stayed in an older building, the room was smaller and overlooking a roof. But it was ok as we enjoyed the city and the surrounding areas.

Quaint hotel in an ideal location
The hotel was very quaint and old fashioned. but the first room we were given (room 22) a double, was very small and the bathroom was not acceptable with peeling paint in the bath and rust down wall and in need of renovation. We were shown another room (33) a queen, in a building adjacent to main hotel which was not much bigger but bathroom was ok and bed was comfy. I would definitely book a queen or king room if we went to Carmel again.

We have loved the Pine Inn for 50 years. Lovely old warm inn with so much history, quirky floors and lovely charm. It’s quite comfortable and excellently located.

Perfect location to enjoy Ocean Ave. shops, dining, and sites, and to jump on to 17 Mile Drive for a driving tour. Staff was terrific. Only recommendation: replace hall carpet up to the second and the third floors. This will be our first choice for our next visit!

We were located next to a roof. Windows opened but would not lock for Securityand they have no fans ,floors not level really bad.The amenities. None had to go downstairs to get coffee and pay for it. One good thing they did have a restaurant inside, but there’s 100 restaurants within blocks of the building. Only good thing was the shopping will look for a new place next time.
