The area around the hotel is in the process of renewal. So one block will be nice and the next will be blighted. The rooms are nice, but cold and clammy. The staff is nice and helpful. So there are trade offs. The price is better than most if your willing to except some of the downsides.

Finding any food was a good 15 to 20-minute walk, but Hochelaga was worth the walk.

The Hotel is a bit of a historical building being an old post office from 100 years ago. The rooms are ok though.

The staff were super kind and helpful with all my inquiries. The room was basic but clean. Exactly what I needed. The breakfast was a nice start to my mornings. When I come back to Montreal, I’ll be staying here again.

Stayed for 2 nights. The property is very lovely with a historic charm and feel. The staff qas lovely and made checking in super easy. The room was nice with high ceilings but the bathroom door couldn't close completely. They offered a standard continental breakfast. The hotel is in a very walkable and transit friendly neighbourhood and made getting to La Ronde very easy and cheap (less than 30mins).

The location of the property was great - close to the Botanical gardens and to the old city. The staff was friendly and nice. The room was not very clean - we found hairs on the walls and on the floor in the bathroom and near the TV on the shelf. The towels were probably white some years ago... Spiders nets were above the bed. At night it was really hard to sleep because of the very noisy air conditioner and fridge and mice scratching in the wall. Breakfast was not great either- baked goods were not fresh, not even eggs were offered. Coffee was great, though. Overall the stay was ok, but will not want to stay there again.
