The most wonderful stay at the David. Very comfortable bed. All amenities you need (including a fully stocked kitchen for a perfect staycation). Huge loft like room. Easy communication with hotel staff when needed. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay here. The room is well equipped with everything you need. The hotel staff were very quick to respond with requests and questions that we had. It is in a great location, close to all amenities, eg., groceries, restaurants, bus, subway, etc I would definitely stay here again.

Room was very modern but a little impractical. No mirror above sink, bad lighting where there was a mirror. Shower is in the main room and leaked water which we had to mop up with towels. Handy to have a washing machine and dryer but had to purchase washing liquid. Kitchen had everything you need - tons of fridge and freezer space. Lots of noise from other apartments - you could hear every step someone took in the room above ours. Excellent location. Parking was nearby in an open air car park for $22 per day. Did not feel secure but we had no issues.

The property was clean and I liked the amenities that was included. Customer service was prompt and helpful. We were 40 minutes early before the 3:00 check in, so we had to wait in the lobby. There is no one physically there to help you. But when the time came it was easy to check in through the app. The only thing we didn't like was how the bathroom is set up. Otherwise our stay was enjoyable.

Just to let everyone know that there is no reception desk whatsoever, we had our security helped us out during an incident regarding our freezer when it made a buzzing sound so he shut off the power for it. Other than that everything is completely neat and clean, very modernized feel and vibe to it. Location is very close to the basilica and China town, just a couple blocks. Tons of restaurant and bars that are very close. I’ll be honest with everyone here, for whatever some reason there safety deposit does not like American debit/credit cards and therefore needs a CAD one. I don’t know why, tried six times. Overall the experience and everything deserves at least four/five stars and I wanted to personally thank David Hotel for having us.

Trendy and cool, but very bland, no real art or decoration. Odd communication. Hefty security deposit, and then they wanted a hefty “safety” deposit as well. There are better places to stay close by.

Great location. We were in the loft and they are very spacious and a fabulous & practical layout. Close to old town with wonderful restaurant, bar, grocery and coffee choices nearby. Highly recommend.

When speaking to someone over the phone they assured me that there was street parking and parking lots . Parking lots ask you to leave at 5 am and street parking was nearly impossible . They have secturs for people who live there and only people who live or work there . Then you have to move your car at 7 or 8 am if you finally find a spot after all the construction . Terrible for people who are driving . They should rent the lot next to them and charge a little more but allow people to then park

There is no bathroom counter and no mirror because there is no enclosed bathroom. It is not very practical. I am glad I was alone because the shower is completely open to the room. Make sure you arrive at time or after your check-in time because you"ll have to pay 30$ to get in the hotel.

. I did not feel safe as a female solo traveller. The room is well-renovated, but the building is dark and has a weird smell. No human contact due to the digital pass, so it felt not welcoming and stale feeling environment

Excellent location and funky hotel
Great location and really well appointed room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One thing we didn’t like was the over reliance on technology for checking in. We found our room code didn’t work. Fortunately tue cleaner was still in the building and very quickly was able to call someone who came and reset our code. We had no issues after that.
Very weird location of bathroom sink but it was fine for a couple. May not be great for friends.

Great stay at David Hotel. Loved the user-friendly app and the well thought-out amenities of the room. It was quiet, spacious, and comfortable. To note, depending on your needs, there’s no desk area to work from (although the breakfast bar can serve that purpose - just not ergonomic). I highly recommend and would go back. It’s well located in the old port of Montreal.
