Pleasantly surprised
Staff was great upon arrival, quick to respond and accommodate all needs. Place was clean, jetted tub and balcony were a pleasant bonus, shower head is great and water pressure is excellent. And the price is right! Recommend

Room was clean, beds and pillows very comfortable, portable air fan abit noisy, bathroom clean, shower pressure perfect, The caulking around the tiles and tub looks like a blind or drunk person did this job.. The parking is across the street underground, well lit, no staff on site, no signage for doors which exit in side alley.Hotel not affiliated with parking lot but still should advise better as they may lose customers over this.

Great experience. Montreal was lovely, the weather was dicey with rain fall at the weekend but the basis of travel which was for a music event was pleasurable. The staff particularly mr Ghandi and Emma provided added value with good recommendations on Montreal spotlights and made it easy to navigate the city for an authentic immersion in culture and perspective which was unique as an enriching experience. I discovered a art gallery- Galarie Bloom on rue st paul west where i got some exciting modern art painting at affordable price as a result of taking a leisure walk to explore city sights suggested by mr Ghandi the hotel manager. Great exciting and would definitely stay at the hotel again for cost effective, customer friendly service

Don't expect too much
No housekeeping. Stayed 3 nights. Would leave for the day and come back to room with same as we left. When we left we did not put a do not disturb tag on room, but when we returned we found it on our door. Hotel claimed we put it there and that is why no service. Breakfast was in tiny room. Also not clean. Won't stay there again.

The staff are very, very nice. We had nothing bad to say about them. Well...except for the cleanliness of the rooms. Everything looked clean in ours but it smelled horrible. We actually went to buy our own air freshener. The property is just being stretched way too thin to accommodate this many rooms. Ours did not have any ventilation or air conditioning to speak of. A fan they had set up to do the job was just moving the air around slightly. The biggest problem, though, was the area around the property. It's a pretty rough street in a pretty rough area.

Considering the price, this is a good hotel, The common area is pretty run down, but the rooms were clean. The police were there when we checked in, which was a little freaky. Breakfast was good, the dining area is quite small.

When we found the hotel, It said it included breakfast, a pool and parking. When we arrived, we found out there was no pool. I am wondering if it was an old post or a different hotel that just got tacked onto this same brand. There was no parking as the parking garage had been sold and we had to pay a different facility for parking. There was no street parking or any parking in the area to unload the car getting in and out of the parking garage was the parking pass did not open the doors you had to wait until someone went in the car and follow them in. Room on second floor upon exiting the elevator with all our luggage, we found four maids carts lining the hallway. It was about 4 o'clock in the afternoon. We assume they were just cleaning, but for the week that we were there, they never moved. They were blocking the hallway and frequently we have to push them out of the way to get past the elevator. Breakfast consistent of prepackaged muffins or slices of bread you could toast and that was it. We picked up fruit one day and it was rotted so we didn't touch it again.
