Enjoyed our long weekend in Montreal, despite the ton of construction around the city. Hotel was clean and safe, staff was nice, but rarely greeted us as we came and left. Wish we could control the AC in the room, wanted it cooler. Enjoyed the breakfast baskets delivered to our rooms!

A gem in the old port
Wonderful location, just off the main drag in old port. Excellent restaurant in-house (but book early!), and an outstanding cocktail bar for pre-and post-dinner drinks. Our room was large, and simply but comfortably furnished. The shower was excellent, with choice of modes including an extraordinary rain head. The staff make the place very special. They're warm, friendly and REALLY good at what they do. It's hard to call out individuals when they're all so good, but the bartender probably deserves an extra shout out for his hospitality and his mixology!

The room was lovely, spacious and quiet, staff was very friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast delivered to our room every morning was excellent and exactly what we wanted. And the location couldn't have been better - right in the old city, one short block from St. Paul St. with an enormous number of restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. It's also very close to the waterfront. The restaurant in the hotel was fantastic (like every place we ate in Montreal) - wonderful food, great wait staff. We'll happily stay here again next time we're in Montreal.

Our stay was most enjoyable. The hotel is in a great location surrounded by restaurants and it’s extremely convenient to get to the surrounding stores and places of interest. The room was very large, clean and well equipped. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly. My only issue was that one evening we returned shortly after the restaurant and bar had closed. I asked if we could get a drink to take to our room and the member of staff in the bar rudely said no because they were closed despite the fact he was standing behind the bar. The concierge intervened and the guy reluctantly said we could get a bottle of wine. I only wanted a vodka tonic to take to the room so I declined. It seemed like a whole big deal over a simple request. Apart form that it was very good

Beautiful ild fashioned property with large rooms for an older hotel. Staff was excellent as well. Having the included continental breakfast delivered directly to your room at 7am each day was totally awesome! No fighting for a seat in a small lobby breakfast area or waiting for the toaster. Coffee maker was in our room, so we were all set. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Excellent staff. Friendly and helpful. Loved my superior king room on 6th floor facing the Ferris wheel. Nice continental breakfast. The staff made me a delicious cappuccino each morning (at front desk). No complaints - all good.
