☑ 1. Guests must be 18+ years of age to make a reservation.
☑ 2. Guests may not book a reservation in their city of residence or for a third party without the host's prior consent. If you are from the greater Montreal area or booking for someone else, please contact us first. Instant reservations of this nature are not allowed, and we reserve the right to cancel such bookings without notice or guest consent. Reach out to our team for more information before confirming your reservation.
☑ 3. All guests are required to complete B&BMTL's online check-in process. This may involve providing a government-issued ID photo and personal information for identity verification and regulatory compliance.
☑ 4. Check-in begins at 4 pm, and checkout is at 11 am.
☑ 5. We cannot guarantee early check-in or late checkout requests. If you need this service, we offer it starting at $199 + tax fee for early check-in. Please confirm availability 24 hours in advance by messaging or calling us. Payment can be made directly on the booking platform.Guests overstaying their checkout time or causing delays for housekeeping will be responsible for any related costs and expenses.
☑ 6. Smoking is strictly prohibited, both in private balconies and shared areas. Violations will result in a fine, as well as additional charges for cleaning, deodorizing, or repairing any damage caused.
☑ 7. Parties and excessive noise are prohibited at our properties. Please be considerate of other guests in the building. If multiple interventions or police involvement becomes necessary, all occupants must leave the premises, and the guest will forfeit the entire security deposit.
☑ 8. Commercial business work without written consent, illegal activity, and possession of firearms are strictly prohibited.
☑ 9. Overnight guests exceeding the number stated in the reservation are not permitted. Only paying guests are allowed to stay past the quiet hour and overnight at the apartment. If the number of people on the premises exceeds the number originally stated in the booking, the security deposit will be charged in full. Exceptions can occur.
☑ 10. Pets are welcome with a $199 fee per stay. Guests must inform the host of the pet type/breed and are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and preventing noise/damage. Pets are not allowed on furniture/beds, and a photo of the pet is required 5 days prior to check-in. Violations may result in a penalty plus repair/replacement costs.
☑ 11. B&BMTL properties may use video surveillance in public areas. Noise detecting technology may be used inside the guest space to monitor excessive noise levels.
☑ 12. Guests assume full responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage occurring on the property and its facilities. Any property damage must be reported to customer service; failure to report damages will result in deductions from the security deposit.
☑ 13. In case of a major emergency or valid concerns (such as electrical or plumbing issues, unauthorized pets, smoking indoors, overcrowding, excessive noise complaints, or other serious matters), our team reserves the right to enter the apartment without the guest's prior consent to safeguard the property's condition.
☑ 14. In case of a dispute with the host for any reason, the guests will have to raise the concern to the proper channel with airbnb. The host is not responsible for the delays this might cause if we need to use the resolution center. No retaliation of enforcement of house rules will be tolerated.
☑ 15. Heat Pumps are doing the Cooling in the summer and the Heating in the winter. Never use air conditioning if the outside temperature is below 18 Celcius. The heat pump cannot cool below outside temperature when it is cold. Never use the AC mode of the heat pumps in the cold season between October and APRIL. You cannot use the heating mode when outside temperature is above 21 degrees celcius. Never use the heat mode of the heat pumps in the summer season between May and September.
☑ 16. If guests are missing the checkout time of 11:00 Am on check-out date we reserve the right to charge you a late checkout fee of 100$ for the first hour. If guests and or their belongings are still inside the apartment's without express written consent of the host after 1hour we reserve the right to charge the full amount of the next calendar day. If guests are still present after 2 hours and the cleaning staff is unbale to clean the apartment's for the next group in time for the next check-in we reserve the right to ask for additional damages and loss of income from the next reservation.
Booking a reservation constitutes an agreement to comply with the House Rules. Guests who violate these rules are liable for any associated damages, fees, costs, or expenses, which will be addressed through the platform.
Disputes and Chargebacks: All disputes must 1st be addressed between host and guest. In the event of a fraudulent chargeback, all reprocessing fees and all associated legal fees may be applied.
