Great staff, but hotel could use upgrades
This was our second time staying at this hotel, the last time being just in March. The staff have always been wonderful. However, the last time we had some issues with the rooms (we were moved twice due to things not working). This time, the AC was not working and the room phone did not work. Kimber, the afternoon shift clerk, was very understanding and offered to move us to a different room. The next morning, Carolyn, dayshift clerk, came to our room to apologize for the issues and said they would give us extra Wyndham points to compensate this visit and our last one. This was definitely not expected or necessary, as the things being broken were simply outdated. Things get missed, we’re all human. But it was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated! The room was otherwise clean and cozy, except the darkening curtain was a little wonky and the beds were very uncomfortable - like laying on a boxspring. This was not an issue the last time, the beds were very comfy the last time. I did not sleep well in them this time.

This is my favorite in Morgantown. The beds are comfortable and rooms a nice size. Breakfast lady is very helpful as well as the check-in lady.

My family and I enjoyed our short stay here. Online check-in was simple and quick and to check-out we only dropped our key in the check-out basket. No lines, no hassle. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and spacious. I love that they have Dove products here as that is my personal preference. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would stay here again. The location was close to downtown Morgantown so the commute was 12 mins.
