Outside you will find a gas grill and a wood burning charcoal grill. The entire family can end the day around a huge fire ring, eating smores and enjoy listening to the babbling Babbs Creek. The house is within walking distance to Pierces Country Store, Crossroads Tavern/restaurant, and Nessmuck Sporting Goods Store. Short driving distance to Pine Creek/Pine Creek Rails to Trails, and Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. Historical downtown Wellsboro and Ski Saw Mill Resort is also within a 10 minute drive. It's a Fishing Cabin
Needed a place to stay in this area for a few days. The location suited us perfectly. The house served as well as a landing pad and a place to sleep for the activities we were doing in the area. It's a fishing cabin, not a five-star hotel. We had some difficulty accessing the lockbox, but communication with the owner was very quick and helpful.

Family getaway
Celebrated my sons 21st birthday with a family fall vacation. Home is just a short drive to wellsboro and Blackwell for trails . We arrived earlier then expected and the family was so nice to allow us to check in earlier . We do use vrbo a lot and the communication with this rental was top notch . My favorite part of the fish camp was the kitchen . Fully stocked with every pot pan you name it we had it . I do enjoy cooking when we have a rental as I work a lot of hours and look forward to fmaily meals on vacation . We did eat at crossroads and highly recommended the wings . It’s a short walk from the house . Traffic tho being right on 287 was a little much but that honestly makes it a convenient place to stay . Probably next time find one more off the grid and quieter . Overall I do recommend a short stay . Thank you for everything.

Perfect and beautiful location
We loved this property and the location. It was right next to a stream and it was just perfect. We were able to bring our dogs and they loved playing frisbee in the water. Wellsboro was a quick jaunt up the road and the west rim of the Grand Canyon was just as close. The house had more than enough room for us, and in fact we thought about booking again with the other 3 people that we ride with. I would definitely stay here again but for a longer period of time. Donate was quick to respond with my questions, thank you for everything!!

This old house
Pet approved, the dog loved the creek. We enjoyed our stay. The listing was incorrect, there were 5 full size beds and a queen. There’s only 1 twin bunk. The kitchen was roomy and not only fully stocked with kitchen equipment and tableware but also non perishable food, which was unusual for a rental. The frig was full of water bottles, as well as beer and wine and every condiment imaginable except for chocolate syrup. The closets and dressers were full of the owners clothes, and there wasn’t any room for guests’ things. The only flat surface available to put my suitcase on was the window seat and there were lots of dead flies in the corners. The stairs to the second floor are very narrow and steep. The house is centrally located between Wellsboro and the Pine Creek rail trail, but only a few feet off of the main highway. There is only 1 key so don’t let anyone take it off of the premises. It would help if there was more than 1 key.

Nice large house
This was a very nice house to stay in. It was almost too big for us, but it was convenient for our trip purpose. If you have a lot of family or friends, there will be plenty of room! Could have used some instructions on the TV, but we figured it out.

The house is as advertised. Excellent location for exploring Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, Wellsboro, and surrounding area. Very clean and well equipped, including the kitchen. It was just two of us this time, but it would be very good for a larger group.

Home Away from Home
Knowing we would be hiking the PA Grand Canyon and various state parks with our pup, we were looking for a place to lay our heads and get cleaned up. This location fit the bill perfectly! It was in close proximity to Wellsboro and other attractions. We made breakfast, packed a lunch and then ventured out. In the evenings, we enjoyed dinner by the creek watching nature in action. The weather was perfect, which contributed to the spectacular starry sky! If you want a taste of the outdoors with all the comforts of home, this is the place!

Exceeded all my expectations
When planning for a hiking trip and Cherry Springs State Park visit, I found this adorable home that was right in the middle of where we needed to be. I could tell it was quaint and cozy from the pictures but in person it exceeded every expectation I had. This home is stocked with anything you could ever need and all of the beds in the bedrooms were much bigger than we even thought! We went for my cousins birthday and I got him a cake but accidentally forgot candles, I glanced around and there was even birthday candles in a kitchen drawer! The little general store next door to us was so convenient- and with a short walk there’s a great local tavern where we got to meet some locals and share some drinks! It was literally everything we could’ve needed!! Seriously so impressed with this home considering how reasonable the price! I’d love to stay here again, it’s a great house in an absolutely beautiful area, can’t beat it.

Absolutely loved this home!!! Only 10 minutes to Wellsboro (another great town). As soon as we got to the home I texted Dinate and she responded immediately with key location. And seeing the property I asked her if it was for sale…unfortunately no 🤷🏻‍♀️ (My husband and I were in town looking for property)Lol. The yard has a nice set up… fire pit, benches so you can sit by the creek. Yes there are hotels you can stay at but why when you have a home to go back to and unwind in the living room or sit by the creek after a nice hike in the Pa. Grand Canon. And let’s not forget to mention the little store right next door. There was also a binder she put together for guests with all the local restaurants and things to do in town. So helpful and Just perfect!!! Thank you Dinate for sharing your home with us.
