Walls, floor and ceiling had stuff splattered on them and were quite dirty. Furniture was old and torn. The actual sink and bath were clean and sheets were clean but other things not so much. The staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was good. I think this motel is over due for some tlc.

Dirty bathroom
The front desk person was really nice but the cleaning of the room was horrible. The toilet seat had visible poop on it, the faucet and mirror had splatters on them, the tub metal plug thing was pulled out and just loose, there was a pile of dust and hair on the floor corner behind the bathroom door. Made you feel like everything was just icky. I would have asked for a different room but was exhausted so I just cleaned some myself.

Friendly and accommodating
Check in was personable. There were only a few check-ins left so I was greeted by name! Staff was very accommodating answering our questions and taking care of the few requests we had.

The room was old and had a weird rotating smell. I asked the staff for extra towels, she told me she'll bring them to my room. I waited for hours and she didn't bring anything, I had to go back and I found another young lady that was very helpful.

The facility and room were filthy dirty. There was snot on the blinds handle. There was dirt all over the room. There were only 2 outlets in the room (so 4 plug ins) and one of them was for the TV, fridge, coffee maker, and telephone. So the phone and coffee maker were not even plugged in because there was no place to plug them in at. The pool looked mirky and gross. There were no towels in the pool to use after getting out. The microwave in the room and the one in the dining room had food caked onto it everywhere. I was a little worried that there would be bed bugs or lice in the room because it looked so bad. The staff tried to be helpful but the only person we ever say basically just gave excuse after excuse for the way things were and did not give any help for these issues. I will never go here again and am giving bad reviews online.

Quiet hotel, close to a lovely lake side walk into the downtown approximately 2 miles. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good with hot and cold choices, hotel was clean and room was ok. Would stay again
