The cottage "Relaxation and Horizons was established in September 2014. This bright and spacious house of 160 m2 is situated in a quiet village and character 16 km from Bayeux, 16 km from Caen, 16 km from the landing beaches (Courseulles, Asnelles ...).
The house is located on a park of 2000 m2 and private parking can accommodate 8 cars.
The cottage is composed:
Ground floor:
A lobby lit by a glass roof where you will find all tourist information of our area. A small regionalist library complete this documentation.
A TV lounge opens onto the park and extends the lobby.
A fully equipped kitchen (combi oven, induction hob, extractor, dishwasher, refrigerator / freezer ...) extended by a dining room that can accommodate 8 to 12 people and an area of ​​30 m2.

A very enjoyable week in Normandy at this well located, spacious house near Bayeux, Caen and the D-day beaches. Fantastic accommodation and facilities in beautiful surroundings with a large garden for our 10 and 12 year old to play in with the added bonus of a wealth of books on Normandy history in the house.

Normandy Getaway
The house was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. It is located in the countryside where it was very peaceful. It was close to all the Normandy beaches that we visited during the day and were able to come home and relax in the evenings. Annie and Phillipe were very helpful and they also had plenty of books about the area right there in the house. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

D-day beaches and holiday
Very friendly and helpful hosts and a lovely property in a charming location with a large garden. Excellent location for visiting the D-day beaches, memorials, Bayeux and surrounding areas. We were a party of 5 including a 93 year old, the facilities in the gite were perfect for our needs. Thank you for making us feel very welcome.

A comfortable, quiet, well equipped gite.
We received a very warm welcome from Annie & Philippe who provided us with all the information needed to make our stay enjoyable. The accommodation is extremely spacious and fitted with modern appliances. Access to Bayeux, Caen and the coast is easy. There are smaller towns close by with a good range of shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future,.

Great house, amazing garden
The house was perfect for our group of 8, all rooms are a great size, and the bathroom facilities are excellent. The kitchen/dining room is huge and light, and we spent a great deal of time relaxing over some lovely cheese and wine. The garden is amazing and massive, we had a lovely time playing silly games as the weather was really kind during our October half term stay. We were ideally situated to get to all of the landing beaches, and my 82 year old father had a particularly wonderful time. Highly recommend.

Fantastic House

Great time in Normandie
Great stay in the house in Cully and a fabulous week in Normandy Plenty of space, very large garden..too big for the frisbee!! Anniee very hospitable, nothing too much trouble. The village of Cully is very quiet, situated half way between Caen, Bayeaux.and Arromanche. American Military Cemetery and D-Day 360 cinema moving experiences Planning to come back later in the year.

Lovely modern house, well stocked kitchen, in a nice quiet country location, the owners were very helpful and went out of there way to make are stay a memorable one. I would definitely recommend this property for a Normandy vacation.

An excellent holiday home at a good location to explore Normandy
This is a little gem tucked away in the small town of Cully. It is within easy reach of Caen and Bayeaux. It is a good base to explore the beautiful Normandy, with it's history. The facility is clean, well equipped, and has a large beautiful garden ideal for children to play. You are greeted by Annie and Phillipe, who own the property and live next door. They are very helpful and happy to direct you to the attractions nearby as well as where to find amenities such as supermarkets etc. The weather was good, and the beach only 25 minutes away. You do need a car though, and should be prepared for the occasional noise of the farm tractors going past in the early morning All in all, I can assure you of an enjoyable stay. Chers Annie et Philippe, merci beaucoup et a la prochaine! Four of us enjoyed a sunny July week in Annie and Philippe's lovely house. They made us very welcome, with good communications before we arrived and a very friendly welcome on arrival. They live just next door. The holiday house is modern, spacious and clean. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds, the bathroom facilities are very good. The kitchen and dining room are well equipped. There is a separate lounge/TV area and a useful utility room with washing machine. There is plenty of space outside for sitting in the peaceful countryside. Easy onsite parking. The wifi is very reliable. In terms of location, the house is in a rural village, but close to the main road network and so easily within reach of all of the D-Day beaches, Bayeux and Caen. Slightly further away, but still accessible, is Le Mont St Michel and AJ Hackett's bungy jump. Cherbourg was an easy day trip by train from Bayeux. There is a small supermarket and two bakeries in another village, about 10 minutes away by car. There is a very large supermarket in Bayeux. A very comfortable holiday house in a great location and with friendly hosts. We recommend it!

Maison spatieuse dans une région très varié
On vient de passer la première semaine de paques dans cette belle maison. Une maison bien équipée et très spatieuse. Le grand "parking" a permetté les enfants de rouler leurs bicylettes toute la journée. Une région surprennant avec tellement beaucoup de choses a faire qu'on reviendra sans doute. Beautiful house, great location
We recently spent 8 nights in this beautiful area of Normandy. The house accomodated three families, with a total of 4 children aged between 6 months and 5 years, one downstairs bedroom with separate shower and toilet, 3 bedrooms upstairs, one has en suite shower room, there is also separate bathroom upstairs. The house was spotlessly clean, very well equipped kitchen, with microwave etc. Large garden with barbecue and ample outdoor seating for all the family. The owners Annie and Philip live next door, they are very helpful, and house has literature in different languages on local historical sites. The location is rural, quiet with easy access to all Normandy historical sites and beaches, the nearest supermarket is approximately 5 km. This was our first visit to normandy, the weather was exceptional, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this property to others.

Goed. Accomodatie aan vernieuwing toe. Vooral voordeur welke los staat en de ramen zijn zeer geluid doorlatend. Rolluiken werken mindergoed tot slecht. Bedden zijn te smal voor twee volwassenen.

Point d’attache pour visite
Nous avons passé grâce à Annie et Philippe une très agréable semaine pour la découverte de la côte normande où c’est déroulé une page importante de notre histoire. De plus la maison est un havre de tranquillité au sein d’un petit hameau calme et serein, Et cerise sur le gâteau le temps a été très clément sur tour la semaine. Nous recommandons ce lieu de villégiature.

Urlaub in der Normandie
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Die Gastgeberin in sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus und Garten ist perfekt für Familie mit Kindern. Es liegt in einem kleinen ruhigen Dorf. Für unsere Touren in der Normandie liegt es sehr Zentral. Sehr Empfehlenswert!!!!
