Gals kayak getaway
This is a fabulous historic home. Convenient location and walkable to restaurants and shops. 20 minute drive to Kings landing kayak adventures. All the conveniences of a fully stocked home. We will definitely return.

We were expecting a nice property, but it was even better than we imagined. The owner provided all the fine touches that you would see in a five star hotel. Excellent location for shopping and dining out in Mount Dora. When we returned to Mount Dora in the future, hopefully this property will be available!

Fantastic property and stay!
Perfectly suited our needs for a weekend girls trip. Property was immaculate and very well appointed. Comfy beds and soft linens and towels. Nice coffee bar set up. Lovely part of town with an easy walk to main district with shopping and food. Host was extremely accommodating in everyway. We'll be back!!

Beautiful Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Royellou. The home is beautiful. The owners take great care of the property and it shows. Also the additional amenities are appreciated from the coffee/tea drawer to the multiple night lights that are placed in various locations throughout the house. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, and also the short walk to town. I will definitely stay here again if we need a 3 bedroom house.

Best vacation rental experience
The Royellou house is quaint, clean and provisioned to accommodate every possible detail. The linens and beds and incredibly comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with coffee and tea. You get the period home feel in an updated, clean, well laid out cozy house. Lovely front porch was icing on the cake. Perfect for families, friend trips, you name it.

We so enjoyed relaxing on the large porch of this lovely historic home and watching the people go by. The house has everything you need for a short or long stay, with top quality linens and comfortable beds. Plenty of parking. Just a short walk to the park and the downtown shops and restaurants. What a find!

One of the cleanest, well equipped places we’ve stayed. Especially appreciated the coffee/tea drawer of choices, little lighted mirrors in the bathrooms, those are the little touches that make it special. Great location, loved relaxing on the front porch mornings and evenings.

Beautiful Royellou House
We travel as 3 couples 60+ and this is our 2nd year in this charming home. Let me start by saying the home is immaculate. The host James is extremely accommodating. Check-in was a breeze. Anything you would need to make your stay comfortable is provided. The front porch was ideal to start the day, making plans while having our morning coffee. I sincerely cannot say enough about this house. We will definitely all be back next year.

Mount Dora at Christmas time..
The property was beyond perfect. The owner came over and introduced himself, very nice and accommodating. There were timer lights on the house, so it was nice to come back to after our evenings out. Loved the front porch that accommodates many with rocking chairs and other patio furniture. Very historical and interesting home. Very clean and they have everything that you need. I highly recommend staying here. They spare no expense on mattresses for all three rooms, very comfortable! We had 6 ladies from our book club, and it was so comfortable and we will definitely be back!

One of the best!
This home was in tip-top condition. The owner ( who lives nearby) greeted us upon arrival and encouraged us to let him know if we needed anything. After making introductions, he left us to relax and unpack. The house is in extremely good condition and very comfortable and well stocked. The location could not have been more convenient. Overall, one of the nicest VRBO's I have had the pleasure of staying in.

Great location - great house!
Very quaint and comfortable Mt.Dora home very close to downtown. The house was exactly as described, with lots of nice extras like blackout curtains. The house had everything we needed, and walking downtown was so convenient. We will definitely stay here again.

Girls of Summer in Mount Dora
The house was lovely, it's an old home fixed up to a modern-day retreat. The host was wonderful with all our accommodation requests. The house was clean, and perfect for our weekend getaway. They even had coffee for you, even though we brought our own. It was a 10-minute walk to downtown, and we felt very safe. Great little getaway.
