Crystal mining trip
We stayed here for access to local mines. Both me and my older daughter had birthdays in last 3 weeks, my youngest also tagged along. We decided to come back to Arkansas for crystal mining and did private dig at Avant Mining just down the road. Place is nice and secluded. Spacious, well stocked. Could use some curtains and a hot tub would have been cherry on top but 5 star none the less. Would recommend to any rock hound!

Excellent location for Rockhounds
The house was clean and spacious with all of the amenities you'd expect. There is a washout sink outside for cleaning whatever you found while out digging. The site is very close to many rock hunting locations. Check out Hickory Nut Mountain Vista for an amazing view of Lake Ouachita.
