Barndominium

This is our guest house on our 100 acre ranch. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers no tub. Two queen bedrooms and bathroom down stairs. A full bedroom, bunk room and a full sized futon in loft plus bathroom upstairs. The cabin sleeps 10.. We have ATV trails a bounce house and 20ft water slide.
This is a working cattle ranch with ponds a creek and hiking trails. I will make breakfast for guests that book at least 4 days at your request.
There is a ladder to go upstairs but it is super well made from a 1950's telephone company made for grown men! Please watch your step! Go to owners main house to pick up house key! Main house has a tan shop building with red trim in front of house. Early check in upon request!

Last Minute Reservation
This is a remote location that just happens to be near my family. At first glance when you arrive, the Barn itself is a bit older and you might wonder why are you here. It has a rustic look and then you enter the barn and it takes your breathe away. The owners created a wonderful living area and it is stocked with everything you need. Everyone who entered the property would say how beautiful it was and how well the owners utilized the space. The owners were as helpful as any homeowners we've met previously. When you first drive to the location, it is a bit challenging to find it since you travel down some remote county roads and cell service is not excellent. Both AT&T and Verizon worked at the location but it was limited. We were all very happy with the rental, the price was very competitive, the owners are kind people and this rental was perfect for us. We will return to this location and we look forward to staying longer on our next trip.

UPRA finals 2021

More than a nice place
The inside of the place is really nice looking, plenty of supplies, towels, dishes and sleeping areas. The hosts Tammy and Ty were super nice and helpful and even brought over inside games 1 day when it was super hot outside. I believe there was anything you needed inside including dominoes, chess and other games and there were yard games to play as well. The place was far enough away to feel mostly safe. The deadbolts on the front and back door were however never cut out of the doorframes so perhaps they will fix this and make people feel a little safer soon. There was not working WiFi inside the place which was not a problem for us but their TV and such they have run off the internet. I ended up putting my phone outside and creating a hotspot for us to do what we needed to inside because there was absolutely no signal inside this metal barn. We did bring 2 male dogs which was working out OK until the hosts' dog and the 2 neighboring dogs would come over and not leave our dogs or kids alone. Our kids ended up getting scratched up from the neighbor dogs jumping on them and wanting to play. The hosts' dog would nip at our dogs that were on leashes but was ultimately wanting to play. They put their dog up one evening but then he was back the next morning ready to jack with our dogs again. We were told we'd have a bounce house for the kids initially but that didn't happen, even after I received video of what the the bounce house would look like. We did pay extra to have a water slide put up which was well worth it because our kids spent most of their day wearing themselves out on it. The window AC units (in the sleeping areas) kept the sleeping areas cold at night but those were also used to cool the whole house during the day and at 95 degrees+ outside it was hovering around 80 degrees in the main area during the day with them all on max cool and the lowest temperature they would go. Again this sounded like something they planned on fixing in the near future. Overall we enjoyed our stay, I wish I would have gotten up early enough to fish a bit but it was just so hot when we stayed. The pictures that were on this site at our time of renting do not do the place justice, it is super nice inside other than a few little things needing fixed.

We had a great family stay! Our kids didn’t want to leave!
The house was very clean and well decorated. The owners are the sweetest and will do anything to make you feel welcome. Their home is maybe a 3-5 minute walk from the guest home. They showed us the best ponds to fish from. (I think we caught 12 fish.) The owners also setup a bounce house for my kids which they loved! There are some great nearby restaurants including The Cove on the Lake. If you are looking for a peaceful place in the country, this place is for you!

Sometimes you really do get more than you pay for!
My husband and brother were going hog hunting in the area, and the kids and I needed a place to stay for a few days. We were blessed to find the Barndominium. Ty and Tammy took care of us like family! It is private, clean, and SO CUTE! We loved our time there. The kids loved the ladder up to their bedrooms, swimming, fishing, and the bounce house. I just loved the peace and quiet. The home-cooked breakfast was an extra bonus. If we are ever back in the area, we are sure to return here. Thank you so much for everything!
