We stopped in on a way home for a night stay. The room was nice. Soft pillows, soft bed, hot water. The only issue we had is the room was pretty hot when we got in. It took about 3 hours to cool it to a comfortable temp, and it basically ran the rest of the night to keep it there, mind you this is the mid of January, but I like my room around 68 for us and our dog. The AC unit was loud and made noises which made it hard to fall back asleep when waking up. But honestly it could have been a different circumstance if we got a different room. It was clean and close to a few choices of food. May give it another shot in the future.

We were passing through & decided to stay in Mt. Vernon. We decided to get a suite & were actually disappointed by how outdated it was. Also, went to the pool with my kids & the pool & hot tub were freezing because the water heater was broken. Staff is nice & it’s easy to get on the highway,

I stayed for 2 days. The facility was okay. The pool & hot tub were nice although the jets weren’t flowing as hard as a usual hot tub. Very light. My actual room was nice but when I looked closer like the sheets & covers, they weren’t new. There was hair all over both covers. The bathroom looked nice but after seeing the covers & sheets, I thought well how well could the bathroom have been cleaned? The carpet was okay but didn’t feel like it was the cleanliest carpet to walk on barefoot. All in all seems like a typical hotel but definitely not a 5 star hotel. I feel like the price should be just a bit lower for the standards I seen.
