Relaxing summer break
Good restaurants, especially breakfast and the Biergarten. Good for walks and cycling and touring with car. Berncastel Kues 5mins, bit of a disappointment except fabulous Zylinderhaus museum. Air conditioning a bit poor, but not a problem as it was a cool week in July!

Great Hotel Some Rude Staff
Greeting upon arrival was simply "rude" as was the service provided at that time. After another like experience with another rude staff member in hotel dining area on first night we left and ate at other locations for the remainder of our stay. But the breakfast staff, room attendees and checkout staff were excellent. Breakfast was superb as was room

Het inchecken verliep vlot maar we voelden ons niet-echt welkom . Geen uitleg of de faciliteiten dat de WiFi zonder paswoord was moesten we zelf ontdekken . De kamer met rivier zicht ( verdiep 1) werd voor de helft belemmerd door overdekt terras eronder en het dak van de ontbijtruimte . Vermijd dus de PEKING kamer ! Bediening s avonds niet echt vriendelijk. Aperitiefje op terras niet mogelijk ,je moet sowieso reserveren, wat ze niet vertelden bij inchecken, je wordt er al vroeg weggejaagd omdat ze de tafels moeten dekken voor dinner van 18u30 . We zijn dan ook elke avond ergens anders gaan eten . De kamers zijn ok , afzonderlijk toilet , douche en bad . De bedden zijn prima , alsook het zeer uitgebreid perfect ontbijt . De welness opent maar in de namiddag 🙁

Sehr schön zum Entspannen. Man sollte nur frühzeitig Wellness buchen. Von 8 Personen bekamen nur 2 Pers. bei einem Vorlauf von 2 Wochen die Anwendungen zu buchen.

Heel mooi hotel en prachtig gelegen. Ruim ontbijt, maar met afbakbrood en afbakboterkoekjes. De airco werkte niet goed genoeg. Bij de afrekening 2 fouten in ons nadeel. Eentje werd rechtgezet. De andere niet omdat we al eerder hadden ondertekend voor de foute afrekening. Jammer.

Mooi gelegen, goed restaurant, mooi terras. Onze duplex kamer minpunt : toilet op gelijkvloers en badkamer en slapen boven. Dus als je s nachts opstaat moet je telkens de trap doen voor het toilet

Es war ok. So ein wenig in die Jahre gekommenen; Restaurant. 18.00 Uhr, Forelle und Kabeljau auf der Karte. Wollte Kabeljau essen. Ober: Kabeljau aus! Originalton. Das war schon ein wenig befremdlich.

Diesmal war der Service unterirdisch schlecht
Das Hotel ist sauber. Normalerweise ist auch das Frühstücksbuffet toll, aber - bestimmt corona-bedingt - diesmal nicht so legendär. Was aber dieses Mal absolut ärgerlich und sehr schade war, war der Service im Restaurant / der Bar am Abend. Nach langer Anfahrt im Hotel angekommen, wäre es toll gewesen, nach allen Anstrengungen schnell um 22 Uhr ein Glas Wasser und einen Wein zu trinken. Mehr sollte es gar nicht sein. Wir wurden im Restaurant einfach stehen gelassen! Am Einlass wurden wir um 22.05 Uhr begrüßt mit "Das geht jetzt aber nicht mehr, es sei denn Sie trinken jetzt gaaaanz schnell was. Wir schließen um 22.30 Uhr. Wegen Corona." Auf die Frage, ob wir denn etwas bestellen und mit zum Zimmer nehmen dürften, erhielten wir als Antwort ein "Ja", und im Anschluss schritten die Kellner abwechselnd huldvoll mit großem Abstand an uns vorbei und wir wurden nicht mehr beachtet. Niemand kam nur annähern noch mal zu uns rüber, sodass wir hätten bestellen können. Nachdem wir minutenlang wie Deppen im Gang des Restaurants herumgestanden haben, sind wir dann durstig, aber ohne Getränke ins Zimmer gegangen.
