. I was here on a business trip, the hotel was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

Avoid room 207

Booking thru Expedia gave only parking-lot facing rooms. Nice little area near water with good restaurants and historic lighthouse, however room 207 is located next to housekeeping room and by both elevator and ice machine. Someone elected to fill ice at 5:45am!! Then maids at 7:30am. UG!!

Very nice Hotel

This hotel's location is awesome. Especially restaurant in breakfast had wonderful view. Staying with morning cofffee waching outside view, special experience. Everything is so good.

Hotel on the beach

The hotel was no where near full, being oceanfront I was expecting a view. Instead with Expedia rates you get a room facing the parking lot. A room upgrade for the side of the building is $50 more and oceanfront $150 more. It was very noisy with the train and the ferry nearby. The TV in the next room felt like it was in my room. The staff were excellent and said for the amount of discount 20% that I received I might as well have booked direct. If you have no view you might as well stay at the nearby Hilton which is much quieter.

Nice clean room, small bathroom. Heat/A/C worked well, large TV, many channels Good location. Very clean, breakfast OK

Lovely place to stay, good seafood restaurants in area. Not in town, may be a bit out of the way, but I was tired and it was cozy!

Wonderful view and comfortable room.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The view from the hotel was terrific, with scuba divers enjoying the sound right in front of the main windows in the lobby. Boats and ferries crossing the water, fisherman at the pier, and all the other things you hope to find with a trip to the beach. Relaxing in your room after a walk to view the lighthouse, what more could you ask for?

Beachfront gem

Wonderful location next to the ferry dock on Puget Sound. Have stayed at 4 other hotels in the immediate area and like this one the best. Friendly, helpful staff. Hot breakfast just OK, but what a view! Beds more comfortable than average with lots of pillows. Aveda toiletries. Hotel has an upscale feel to it. Second stay here and will definitely visit again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was good. Good resturants nearby and beautiful scenery of the sound from lobby and dining room. Some rooms have a Sound view too.

Weekend escape

The view and setting is wonderful. The nice pubs in walking distance allow for an easy weekend. The fireplace in one room did not have easy controls and could be updated. I will come back again and again.

Wonderful! Immaculate! Cozy!

We spent Friday night and we were so comfortable and cozy! The waves crashing and the fire was great! Thank You! This was our first visit and we will most definately make The Silver Cloud a routine. By the way Ivars was a wonderful place to have dinner and walk back to our suite! It was our 35th wedding anniversary and it may as well been our honey moon!

"37th" Wedding Anniversary

My sweetheart of 38 years and I had a short time to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. The Silver Cloud Inn in Mukilteo, WA. is only thirty minuets from home. Mark, the general manager made our stay very special. When I told him it was our 37th anniversary he did something unexpected for us. He offered us some complementary wine and glasses with a small box of candies. When I requested the room the day before I was supposed to order a room with a fireplace. "Oops"! Mark took care of our needs without a fuss. I'm sure they have given this fine treatment to others, but his attitude made us feel special.

No swimming pool. The breakfast time was closed too early. It was closed at 9:00AM during weekday.

beautiful bay view!

We stayed December 20th 2011, for 1 night. Very courteous and friendly staff. Breakfast was superb! We always "flinch" at the offer of scrambled eggs and sausage from a food warmer, but their food compared very favorably to restaurant quality and taste. Beds were comfortable and the room temperature was comfortably controlled. No noise- no hassle- go and enjoy!

Great Stay!

We have stayed at the Silver Cloud Mukilteo previously and were happy to have a reason to come back. The folks here are very responsive to any questions or issues we might have, and I've seen them treat other guests just as special. We love the ambiance of the room off the lobby, looking out over the sound while we enjoy the delicious breakfast. The best are extremely comfortable: slept like a baby! We honestly have nothing bad to say about the Silver Cloud.

The Silver Cloud Mukilteo

Lovely inn and amenities provided the perfect overnight stay. We walked around the small community enjoying local establishments and sights very much. Safe and convenient parking was much appreciated as was the proximity to the Sounder communter train. We could only wish for a longer stay to have been able to have more fun!

Awesome hotel

We couldn't get it better. Really nice Hotel, with it's own charm, very friendly and helpfull staff, cosy room, nice bed and bedding, got upgrade to sea view room with fire place. Breakfast room is lovely decorated, almost like a personal touch and has not a sterilely interior like other hotels.Coffee, tea as well as fruit is available all day long. We had a wonderful stay at Silver Cloud Inn.

Wonderful stay!

This hotel was a treat for us to stay in! Huge rooms with a small couch, table, microwave, fridge and fire place. I loved the smell of the hotel - it was very clean and there were airfresheners in each hall. Tea and coffee was available all day and night in the lovely lounge area. The one and only draw back was the parking spots in the parking garage that were made for tiny cars - we had a heck of a time getting our midsize car into one of the spots.

Silver Cloud Mukilteo

Make sure you have a room looking out over the sound and to Mount Baker: dramatic view, especially when the Navy sends an aircraft carrier past the hotel.... Well located close to ferry and rail station (trains only in morning and evening at moment. Hotel is well insulated for noise, so you will not be disturbed. Restaurants close by in walking dsistance, or short drive. We did Ivars and Amici Bistro. Arnies also recommended. Future of Flight exhibition at Beoing excellent, and is within waling distance if you want some exercise. Staff very helpful and aimiable.
