Vegans, stay away. I've requested for my friend and myself a couple of vegan options for breakfast like a vegan cheese or ham. Although they didn't promise to take care of it, they did respond that they will do their best which I took for a yes since they have a Lidl branch right next to them. As it turns out, neither my email not my reminding them at check in mattered. The cook who was solely responsible for the entire kitchen and restaurant that morning was not informed. Having seen the few options I was left with she tried to help and offered to me to cook dishes from the lunch menu (with the help of her daughter on the phone, as she didn't speak neither German nor English). Since that menu had no declaration of what's vegan and I couldn't explain to her that soups or other options may not be vegan because of animal ingredients such as chicken soup powder, I decided to pass and eventually found myself with only a few vegetables, fruits and oat milk. At no point was I notified that there is a problem or that the kitchen staff is unable to get those basic vegan additions we requested. Lousy, uncaring service that doesn't cater for vegan needs, even if communicated well in advance and more than once.

The room was clean and had a nice view to the garden. Supermarket out the front and free parking were handy. However, there were three main issues: the air conditioner regularly made a loud vibrating sound, the mattresses were uncomfortable (but good pillows). Most of all the breakfast on a hot day was a health hazard: the yoghurt in the pots was warm, the milk had gone off in the coffee machine, the chopped fruit were starting to ferment and there were swarms of fruit flies on the veg. We chose not to eat on our second morning. We hope improvements can be made to processes.

Good overnight stay
We were on a driving tour of Germany and our last stop prior to flying out of Munich was Hotel Abasto. It was located near our last day's driving and not a bad distance to the airport (40 minutes) The hotel is very modern with parking on site. There are two restaurants on site as well. We enjoyed our dinner at the German restaurant very much. Unfortunately, the wifi was not working although it seemed to be a local problem and not the hotel? The front desk staff kindly advised us of heavy traffic at 7:00am and that we should leave for the airport at 6:30, which we did. I wish they had advised us that the front desk did not open until 7:00 AM though. It made check out a bit sticky. Local area is mostly industrial but our stay was really just overnight so Hotel Abasto worked well for us.

Stayed here in July 2017 while visiting Munich and Dachau. The staff and connected resturant were excellent. The train to Munich required a 15 minute walk to the station but easy on easy off. Not a lot other than a grocery store across the street in the area but well situated if you have a car for Munich , Nuremburg or Austria. Very nice stay !

Nice relaxing hotel
The hotel looked brand new due to the upkeep and housekeeping. Very quiet with a great beer garden with excellent food for dinner. Breakfast was a bit lacking.

We stayed four nights at the Abasto. There was a slight problem with the hotels.com booking (they forgot to add the breakfast) but it was rectified almost immediately. Our room was in a new section and was very quiet and comfortable, although a kettle and tea/coffee would have been nice. The room safe (included in the price) was far bigger than some we've seen and held everything securely. There are no English speaking TV channels but if you take a tablet or a laptop with HDMI output take a lead and plug it in to the TV - the free internet is just fast enough to stream.most of the time. Beds were comfy and the pillows were massive and fluffy. The breakfast was typical Bavarian and nice with good coffee. Anything they don't serve that you fancy you can just stroll literally across the road to the Lidl, which is open 8 - 8 Mon - Sat cut cosed on Sundays We stayed four nights at the Abasto. Well-run establishment in outskirts of city
If you're in Maisach to participate in the BMW Driving Academy, there's nothing closer or more convenient than the Hotel Abasto. There's also a nice restaurant in the hotel. Dachau is easy to get to from here, but plan for the drive to be a bit longer than it appears on the map, as some of it is driving through neighborhoods.
