Wonderful villa, shame about the lack of welcoming touches
This was a wonderful villa, and just 70 paces from the beach. 7km of golden sand and aquamarine water on the doorstep. Amazing.
The garden and outside terrace were also lovely spaces to relax in.
The only negative point was that for the price of the villa (£192 per night) i would have expected more in terms of welcome. And i did not expect to have to pay an additional charge for bedding for each bed. (maybe this was my fault for not reading the small print?)
I would also have expected a welcome pack. Just some milk, coffee, sugar would have been enough, just anything so that it wasn't completely empty on arrival. It would also have been nice to have staple things like salt, pepper, oil, washing up cloths, liquid and tea towels! There was literally nothing.
And no information pack to the area either. It didn't matter to us as i had done a lot of research beforehand and brought it with me. But i would have expected this.
While this was a beautiful villa (and i can't fault the villa it was great), in an amazing location and we had a fantastic 10 days, we felt the little touches we are so used to weren't there. Which was a shame considering the price. It felt like everything was extra and there was no information.
