Lovely Cabin in secluded private 365 acre Lake stocked with Catfish, Crappie and Bass.

Main cabin includes large loft bedroom with king size bed. Full kitchen and bathroom. Great room with 20 foot ceiling. Rustic Lake decor. Great room has futon couch and futon chairs. Mini split AC/Heat. Separate Bunkie sleeps 2 with AC/Heat. Great back porch overlooking large waterfront lot with private pier and seating area. Outdoor Gas Grill. Separate common area with large fire pit (initial fire wood provided) overlooking the water.

10 minutes from Ben Wheeler and Edom. 22 miles from Canton and Canton Trade Days on 1st Monday weekends. 80 minutes from downtown Dallas.

Canoe, Kayaks, life jackets available at no charge to use at your own risk.

Maximum occupancy - 4. Maximum automobile accommodations - 3. No fire arms or guns of any kind or fireworks is allowed.

Peace & Quiet on the Lake
Absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! The owners are very friendly and helpful, and their place is very well done, including little touches all over the place that made our stay even more enjoyable. There’s a dock on the lake for sitting and chilling, and there’s also a porch that you can sit on just outside the house for doing the same thing. The inside was done very tastefully and includes everything you need to enjoy the weekend — including a full kitchen and bathroom and a very comfortable living room with a smart TV if you want to watch movies together. The upstairs loft has a king size bed that is comfortable and stays cool with the ceiling fan over the bed and a very adequate air conditioning unit below in the living room. This place also has a cute little separate bedroom if you plan on having another couple in town on the lake with you. The owners also have a fire pit with wood to use if you want to sit by the fire and they have kayaks and a canoe and things to float on in the water if you’re interested in that. My wife and I will definitely try to get back again and recommend it for anyone who is just looking for a quiet getaway alone or perhaps with another couple.

This is the perfect spot to just relax and get rid of all of your anxiety. The beautiful views and near by small towns are exactly what is needed to hit that restart button. Our group of four enjoyed our stay at this property. We travelled to the area for First Monday shopping in Canton so we didn't get to enjoy the property amenities during the day. We did get to hang out on the porch one evening and enjoy the lovely lake views at night. The property is very clean and comfortable.

Great lakeside cabin
Very comfortable accommodations on Lake Callendar. We stayed there over the Labor Day weekend and had a great time. Charlie and Eric are very kind and responsive hosts. The cabin is well stocked, has a gas grill and canoes if you want to go check out the lake. They were kind enough to put up an umbrella on the dock for my partner to use while he was fishing. They even gave us a tour of the lake. The location is very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely come back again

Lovely, was the first thing I thought and said upon arriving to this property and seeing how nice and peaceful it is. My family and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend at this adorable cabin; from coffee in the morning while looking out back towards the water to enjoying a warm fire in the evenings. We all came home refreshed from our time there. It came equipped with everything we needed and more for cooking indoors and grilling outside. One of the kids was an extra early riser and her dad took her out for a morning canoe ride. We absolutely wouldn't mind going back one day. :D
