Charming apartment in house, completely independent with private garden and pool. Located on the fringes of the village of Casciano di Murlo, about 20 km from Siena, in the heart of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Lovely view of the hills, shaded veranda with garden furniture and private barbecue. Peaceful.
The apartment (about 55 sqm) is located on the ground floor and opens directly onto the veranda and garden. It offers a spacious living room with TV and double sofa bed, a kitchen and dining room (with washing machine, toaster and dishwasher), a triple room with a double bed and a single sofa bed, a bathroom bathroom with shower. Elegantly decorated. Terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. WiFi Internet.

Peaceful haven
Great location for touring Tuscany. Situated in lovely village with all amenities, including a restaurant. Spacious apartment with small terrace overlooking garden and countryside. Large pool which although advertised as private is also used by host and extended family, which was a surprise. No toiletries or towels for pool provided by host. Overall an enjoyable relaxing stay.

A beautiful, quiet stay
A wonderful spot for us, in between Rome and Florence. The hosts were great, the property beautiful. Small town to walk to the store and a few eateries. Wonderful location to drive to Siena, the beach and other great towns close by.

Great Home Base in Tuscany
The gardens are beautiful and inviting, and from your seat on the patio you can take in the lovely view all the way down, over the olive trees, to the rolling hills of the Crete Senesi. The house is quiet, comfortably but simply furnished, with plenty of space for a couple or small group. In the heat of summer, I’m sure it’s a wonderfully cool retreat. The apartment has all bases covered as far as appliances and cooking equipment, but there were no pantry staples like oil or salt. We were able to find what we needed at the local bottega and the co-op stores in larger towns. I suspect this is a Covid policy, and not a bad one, just something to be aware of if you’re planning to cook. Hosts Marcello and Letizia are friendly and helpful, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your vacation. We wished we spoke more Italian so we could learn more about the area, but, alas we had to just go find out for ourselves.

Beautiful location
The cottage is spacious and well-equipped. Lovely views of the countryside from the quiet & peaceful patio. Few minutes' walk into the village where we could shop and dine out. Would have been helpful to have some basics like salt & pepper in the kitchen, and soap & shampoo in the bathroom.

Fabulous apartment
We thoroughly enjoyed 5 nights. The apartment was very well equipped and the pool was fantastic. We were able to walk within 5 minutes into the village where there is a good restaurant, village shop, bakery, bar and pizzeria. Would highly recommend.

We had a restful stay at this simple apartment on the edge of a quiet village. It has a lovely pool which we had exclusive use of. Several places of interest within 20-60 minutes drive.

Gut geeignet für warme und trockene Tage und Erkundung der Umgebung
Küche und Wohnraum sind gut ausgestattet. Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in der untersten Etage eines Hauses, welches sich in einem Bergdorf befindet. Die Zufahrt geht über enge Strassen und ist für große Autos etwas schwierig. Die Lage ist gut zur Erkundung von Volterra, San Gimignano und Siena. Nach Siena dauert die Autofahrt nur 1/2 Stunde. Der Swimmingpool ist groß und im Sommer sehr gut zum Baden geeignet. Leider haben wir ihn auf Grund des Wetters (kalt und regnerisch) nicht nutzen können. Ähnlich verhielt es sich mit dem großen Gartenteil. Bedingt durch das Wetter und des in den Hang gebauten Hauses war die Wohnung auch etwas kühl.

Haus Casciano im September '24
Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus war bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen schön kühl (auch Dank der Klimaanlage). Uns hat auch sehr der Pool gefallen, die Vermieter waren sehr nett. Wir und unser Hund haben uns super wohl gefühlt

Geweldig
Het is een fijn en zeer schoon appartement, groot genoeg voor 2 personen. Badkamer is recent vernieuwd en voorzien van een prima douche. Grenst aan een prachtige tuin en het zwembad ( delen met eigenaar) is goed verzorgd en voorzien van voldoende goede bedjes. 2 lekkere stoelen op het terras om s avonds nog lekker buiten te zitten zou een welkome aanvulling zijn. Hartelijk dank Marcello en Letizia, wij komen graag nog eens terug!!

Schönes Appartement mit Terrasse und parkähnlichem großen Gartengrundstück
Die Unterkunft ist -wie beschrieben - gut ausgestattet. Die Eigentümer, die oben im Haus wohnen, sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hervorzuheben ist das riesige parkähnliche Grundstück mit grossem Pool. In der Nähe sind viele Highlights der Toskana mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt.

Uniek plekje in Toscane
Marcello en zijn vrouw en hond heetten ons van harte welkom en maakten ons wegwijs in en om het appartement. Een uniek plekje in Toscane, met privé gebruik van een deel van de tuin en het zwembad. De woning is eenvoudig, maar compleet. De bakker, kruidenier en een leuke taverne op loopafstand. Mooie stadjes met de auto makkelijk te bereiken. Aanrader!

Heerlijk verblijf,lieve eigenaren
Het was heerlijk hier te veroeven! Wij dachten dat het zwembad voor ons 2 prive was,we wisten niet dat er 4 appartementen waren( ik had het wel duidelijk gevraagd voordat ik ging boeken)Het was verder geen probleem! Het internet was slecht,meestals niks,en de douche cabine is duidelijk aan vervanging toe.Ook voor de nederlanders,let op,er is alleen een Italiaanse caffettiera( ik weet niet hoe dat werkt). Verder echt een superfijn verblijf gehad!!!

Tutto come da descrizione, appartamento super fornito di ogni piccola necessità pensabile, posto bellissimo, un po' fuori mano, ma è proprio quello il bello. Peccato le tante zanzare ed api che non hanno consentito un utilizzo dell'esterno o della piscina per un aperitivo o altro, non si poteva stare fuori dall'acqua.

Le gite est situé dans un village au calme. La vue est magnifique. Le gite est bien equipé et reste frais ce qui est tres appreciable. La piscine est superbe. Et enfin les propriétaires sont discrets et agréables. Une superbe adresse que je recommande pour visiter la toscane.

Une maison avec piscine formidable dans un écrin de verdure
La maison (rez de chaussée) est très agréable car fraiche l'été, grâce aux arbres qui entourent la maison. Le parc est absolument magnifique avec de nombreux arbres et fleurs. Enfin la piscine est un bonheur car elle est propre, douce, claire, chaude et située au coeur du parc. Propriétaires très gentils et discrets.
