Quiet Location
We enjoyed our stay in Murphy’s. The house worked out nicely for us. It was very clean and comfortable. They did provide things but the bare minimum but the house was perfectly located walking distance to the main street and very comfortable home. The location was very quiet. I really would have enjoyed using the fireplace but they made it off limits to guests which was an unfortunate situation for us. I have a similar heater at home and run it constantly so that was my only complaint. Overall, great location for a great time in Murphy’s for a couple of days.

I love how sparkling clean this place is. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, but walkable to main st. It’s a bit of a walk though so if the weather isn’t cooperating that’s a bit hard

Girl's getaway
My friends and I went to Murphys for a girl's weekend. Christine's house was beautiful and perfect for the weekend. We loved the walkability and had a great time wine tasting and shopping downtown. Such a fun weekend!

Great property. Very clean and comfortable.
The house was clean and comfortable and ready for us when we arrived. It’s so much better than a hotel. Our family stayed together and visited deep into the evening. We played games, and cooked food. Yes, the floors are loud. It did not bother us.

This place was beautiful and clean. Location was great. HOWEVER, there were NO toiletries at all… first time I have EVER experience that so that was a shock. We were not prepared for that. Also, if you plan to cook, there is only salt and pepper so bring everything you need.

The electronic lock to get in would continue to lock and unlock on its own.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The floos must have been installed wrong. They creeked all over when walking on them. Neighbors kept us up late.. Overall very disappointed. Will not rent agaig.

Newer home in a nice neighborhood
We stayed here for two weeks along with our dog. The property was newer and very clean. It is within walking distance to downtown. The only drawback was that there was no BBQ for outdoor cooking and very limited patio furniture (a table and some plastic chairs). Otherwise, the property was great and we would stay again.

Central location
Nice, newer house, very convenient to central Murphys and its many restaurants and winery tasting rooms. No toiletries, no spices/oil/vinegar etc. Minimalist kitchen supplies; if you plan to cook, bring whatever you need. No BBQ. Easy drive to the wonderful Calaveras Big Trees State Park. Go visit and take a picnic!

The house was very nice and bigger than the pictures indicate. Location to town was great. When you walk on the floor it sounds like your shoes are un-tied or someone is following you. The only kitchen essentials were salt and pepper so I recommend you bring any thing you need.

We were in Murphys for a family funeral. This property is exactly what we needed. There are 3 Queen beds and 3 baths. The master bedroom has one attached bathroom/shower. There is a full access kitchen and dining area with an open concept to a living room. You are definitely within walking distance to downtown Murphys. I had multiple texts with the owner and was contacted promptly. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location
We stayed at this location for the St. Patrick’s weekend. The house was in a great location. It was close enough to walk downtown and far enough to not be around all the traffic and crowds. The house is very clean, updated and decorated very nicely. The host Christine was fantastic to work with and answered my few questions very quickly. The house was a newer construction and being a single story was even more convenient. I highly recommend this property!
