This was our second stay at Holiday Pavilion. Both times were amazing and enjoyable. Our only disappointment was my fault, not the resort. We reserved late and so room selection was not a commodity. We selected the King Suite which was an amazing amount of space for the money. Unfortunately, it was on a lower floor and the view of the ocean was somewhat blocked by a palm tree. Again, that was on me for waiting so long to book because we stayed on the upper floor on a previous visit and loved the view. My advice is calling and asking what floors are available to stay on the 4th floor or higher if pet of your wants is a good ocean view. Main parking is across the street and my recommendation is getting there early enough to find a spot closer to the resort. It’s not a terrible walk to the parking area. My wife and I have wanted to find a Myrtle Beach resort that we’d go to again and again. Holiday Pavilion is that place for us. We’re already planning our next visit next year when the weather is much warmer and enjoying the beach during beach season! Thanks Holiday for an absolutely awesome spontaneous trip!!!

Property is older and needs to be updated. Especially the decor in the suites, the furnishings and the ambience is very old. The king size bed and the shower were the best parts of this suite. Good view from the suite overlooking the ocean and beaches.Bar and Pool area was nice. Parking is difficult with very small spaces and limited spaces close by. Only 3 handicap parking spaces. Need better pest control due to spiders and roaches in the suite.

I requested ocean view in which the picture displayed that and when we arrived to the room the view was the pool/tiki bar/outdoor lounge area that was noisy and not relaxing not satisfied with the boss advertising.

We were very disappointed in this hotel. It’s very old and needs to be renovated. I would call this more of a two star hotel versus a three star. The beds were very uncomfortable, my wife and I both tossed and turned all night. The coffee shop was nice and the tiki bar was pretty good also but that’s about.

It was bike week and it was entirely too noisy. Not enough handicapped parking spaces. They should have a shuttle to take handicapped people to and from there cars if they have to park at least 2 blocks away.

I thought this would be much better than it actually was front desk was not nice. I think training in customer service would probably be helpful especially with guests that are escaping disasters. Also, we had bugs in the room when I told front desk about it. They said they were behind on the spraying for roaches and they will let someone know. I thought that was very odd response to a customer telling you you have roaches. Lastly, the parking was horrendous, but we kind of let that go because it was Myrtle Beach.
