This was our second stay at Holiday Pavilion. Both times were amazing and enjoyable. Our only disappointment was my fault, not the resort. We reserved late and so room selection was not a commodity. We selected the King Suite which was an amazing amount of space for the money. Unfortunately, it was on a lower floor and the view of the ocean was somewhat blocked by a palm tree. Again, that was on me for waiting so long to book because we stayed on the upper floor on a previous visit and loved the view. My advice is calling and asking what floors are available to stay on the 4th floor or higher if pet of your wants is a good ocean view. Main parking is across the street and my recommendation is getting there early enough to find a spot closer to the resort. It’s not a terrible walk to the parking area. My wife and I have wanted to find a Myrtle Beach resort that we’d go to again and again. Holiday Pavilion is that place for us. We’re already planning our next visit next year when the weather is much warmer and enjoying the beach during beach season! Thanks Holiday for an absolutely awesome spontaneous trip!!!

We were without a car. The area offered many opportunities for food & entertainment. The indoor pool was nicely heated. Loved sitting on the balcony listening to the waves lap the shore!

Nice property that is well maintained. The room furniture is a little outdated and shows wear & tear. Needs to be replaced. Housekeeping staff was not very friendly. Did not leave towels one day. We had to go ask for them at night. BUT…incredible location right on the Boardwalk next to the Sky Wheel. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel.
The hotel was very nice. Service was friendly. The only complaint I might have was the smell of the room when I first entered. It was the typical smell of a hotel room in an old hotel but aside from that, everything else was great.

The location and rooms were great, the BIG issue was the timeshare sell the front desk directed me to without telling me that was what it was. I greatly dislike being forced to listen to someone trying to talk me into scheduling a timeshare sales meeting at the check in and definitely do not like the misleading send over from the hotel staff. I know it is a common practice but it is one that should stop. If you want to sell timeshares you should have marketing in a space and NOT direct customers to it, give them the info and let them choose if they want to go over to speak with them. Another idea is NOT to put them in the only path in and out, perhaps on the other side of the lobby near the window would have been less obtrusive.

Great potential foiled by unwelcomed guest.
Walked in and immediately had to battle two roaches. I had a great view in an ideal location only to be turned completely off by these critters. I had stayed there before without incident which prompted my return. It’s a shame that this is the image I am leaving with. It’s a shame if you don’t fix this.
