Quick Beach trip
Room was spacious, A/c was on blast once I arrived(loved that), Front desk helped me with me needs and was so nice. Location was close to everything that was needed. 4min drive to beach, waffle house next door for breakfast. First time staying at a Red roof and would definitely return.

Empty space in room where the refrigerator should’ve been. Outdated everything! Very dirty bathroom with urine stains all over the sides of toilet and floor. Dirty room with missing molding and holes for critters to crawl through. No discount for having to stay only a few hours to escape the storm and everything was Closed: pool, restaurant… zero amenities and FILTHY. I didn’t sleep in the bed because of how the linen looked.

This room look’s clean, however we were bitten by some kind of bugs, maybe fleas, right at the first night. Still struggling with bites consequences. There was so much moisture in the room. All our clothes were wet. The room was on the first floor. We stayed there 6 nights, we’re not happy. Stuff was very polite and responsive, but they can do nothing about it….

While the staff was excellent, this is an older hotel, it could use some updates. The toilet was clogged all night, the night staff could not find even a plunger. But the maintains man did come at about 9am. Also we found a 1/2 eaten chicken caucus in the coutch/hideaway bed. Which made me concerned about cleanliness. All in all it wasn't bad.

Red Roof saved us from Spirit Airlines unexpectedly canceling a flight home with last minute room overnight. Clean, comfy and quick friendly check in. TV worked, hot water nice comfy bed. Everything a weary traveler needed.

Staff was nice and friendly. The room was clean. Did have a problem with the drain but they came and fixed it. Walkable to near by restaurant waffle house. 5 minutes from beach ⛱️ which was awesome. Kids loved the pool.

The male employee was rude to my daughter and is making my daughter leave tomorrow with 3 kids ! People are loitering all around the building and yet she has to leave. My daughter is a clean freak so I have to ask why ????
