This property is the ideal location for shopping, restaurants, the beach, the sky wheel. However, the property is very dated, housekeeping never came during my 3 day stay (i purchased my own toilet paper & cleaning supplies), the bedroom of my “suite” was claustrophobic and by the front door (we opted to sleep on the pullout in the living room area), check in staff seemed unsure in the procedure, and overall i was just disappointed in the property.

that place is a dumd no hot water was support to be a queen size bed it was just a reg bed the shower curtain fall down thier was no safe guand rails in the bath tub and then i have to clean the place up for them just around a bad place to stay

Affordable oceanfront
I wanted a place to stay oceanfront by the boardwalk. This was a good choice for that criteria. Most of the hotels in this area are old, so that was expected. For the price, I got a decent place to stay with a kitchenette. The staff was very friendly. Parking is free but across the street, so plan for that. There is an elevator, which is a plus when you are on the 8th floor. The only complaint I had was the TV, I had a channel guide with a lot of available channels, but I could only get 4 and 3 of those were in Spanish. Luckily I like BBC America. I wasn’t in the room enough to really care, it was just an annoyance. But there was also a hurricane 100 miles off shore so that could have had an impact on the channels available. All in all, it’s a good place to stay. It’s an older place that hasn’t been updated, but it was decently appointed and looked clean enough.

Not a great experience
1/2 of the pool area didn’t work so the 1/2 that did work was packed. The balcony was 2 feet wide. U could only stand on it. Check out was 10 am and no late checkout option. No coffee or shampoo in room. No ice on the property that worked. The only plugs in the bedroom were on a wall opposite of the bed.

This property is close to everything, we have a beachfront room and has assigned parking across the street. The rooms have complete amenities, and had smooth check in and out. The building looks old and worn out, but overall our stay was amazing because of the accesibility of the place.

In general
The room never got below 73 for some that may be ok but for us it was uncomfortable. The balcony, if that’s what you wanna call it was unacceptable… you had just enough room to stand it’s literally against the door of the hotel. These rooms need some upgrading for the pricing. The location is amazing . If you stay here be prepared to clean the room completely before you leave and set your trash on the outside of the door. (We usually clean before we leave anyways) they will keep your 200$ deposit if you don’t . (No they didn’t keep mine) If you need something after 11 it’s a security guard. We may never stay here again we usually stay at Monterey bay

The view was the best part and the area around was very nice. In the room it was nice but mold was everywhere and the appliances were old and rusty. The TV was nice but the cable connection wasn’t the best so expect the TV to cut out for minutes on end, i’d recommend bringing some sort of tv stick like a roku or amazon fire stick. When we got there the floor in the bathroom and kitchen was soaking wet and we found out the toilet was leaking. Luckily maintenance responded pretty quickly and helped with another question we had.

Very gross around the property, mold in our room on the ceiling and on the fan. They don't change sheets, bring extra towels or anything. You have to ask for anything additional you need, so not convenient for a long stay. People at the main office aren't friendly and don't care about the moldy rooms, etc. Other people were in the main office complaining about mold in their rooms. Wish the health dept would come visit and see what they think. :) Would NOT recommend.
