Travelled with family, Travelled with family and small children
This place was something like an upscale motel 6. They don’t include tooth brushes but they have them for purchase at the front desk. There is a 7-11 right next door for food options. I stayed with my 3 kids nice small and cozy though inside. We brought out fire stick so we were able to relax and watch a movie in English.
The hotel is like an old American motor inn. The entrances to the rooms open directly outside. The reception area is not staffed 24/7. Reception is closed from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. When I arrived at the motel at 3:00 p.m. and entered the reception area, there was no one at the desk. Instead, I rang a bell and the receptionist arrived to check me in. We were given a room on the first floor which was convenient for unloading luggage. The room is bare bones. The bed and pillows were very firm. There is also a very small television and refrigerator. The rooms have a regular key rather than a swipe card so rooms do not look upon closing the door; you have to lock the door with the key when you leave. Breakfast is included but it isn't really breakfast. It is self-serve coffee, tea, juice, and croissants. This hotel offers a clean stopping point for travelers exploring Japan's west coast but it is not a luxurious vacation hotel.
Location is good and a convenient store is only 100m from the hotel. Clean and spacious. However no electric water pot provided. We need to take water from the reception area that closed after 23:00. Maybe this is a personal preference and hygiene issue, I prefer a normal and traditional blanket rather than a bed sheet on top with a bed cover.
It is not reasonable for renting an electric kettle. Although hot water is provided at lobby, there are only small cups. It is very inconvenient for those who need water at room temperature.
