Loved having view of ocean and the sound. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The amenities were fantastic, from the delicious hot breakfast, the wine and cheese hour in the evening, having coffee all day in the lobby, down to the chocolate chip cookies at night. We really can’t think of anything negative to say about this great little hotel. Hope to come back!

Ocean themed decor and furniture. Spacious room. Easy to use TV. Refrigerator in room. Breakfast staff kind and breakfast not standard fare, which is good. Hot tub and pool great temperature. Only 2 things less than ideal: check-in staff a bit unfriendly and pool/hot tub in other building, so we had to go outside to get there (may be fine if it wasn't winter)

It was very quiet at night. I enjoyed being able to see the sunrise and sunset from our balcony. The breakfast was outstanding. Close to Manteo and other places we like to visit. I am looking forward to our trip next year.

If you need an elevator, get the correct room
There are 2 buildings. Only one has elevator. Beware so you book the one you want. Breakfast not so great. Room was clean. No smells. No mold.
