Hotel was nice and in a great location. Only complaint is that there was a smoking area on our floor so the whole floor smelled sometimes despite us booking non-smoking.

Everything here is perfect. The only cons are that do your laundry early because there are only 2 machines available and lots of people do their laundry in the evening. Secondly, the space in the room isn't efficient for big check-in luggage. It was hard for me to pack on the floor for just 1 check-in/carry-on luggage (I had 2 carry-on and 2 check-in luggage) and I had to fix the luggage on the bed.

Just a quick 5-10minutes walk from the nearest Metro Station. Check-in was fast and staff spoke very fluent english. Managed to check into our room at 1.30pm before the stipulated timing of 3pm. Location was at convenient 5-10 minutes walk to Teramachi shopping street which has great shops and dining options

Not in a good location, it’s in an alley, and quite a walk from station, cleanliness is ok, bottled water need go down concierge take yoself. Else is good, bed is comfy, toilet door swing outwards kinda weird

We loved the atmosphere of this hotel. The room had lively Japanese decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good and prices reasonable. Loved the public bath .. we took advantage of that each night! Will stay again if we visit Kyoto again. Will check out this chain in other areas. The beds were also very comfortable.

Appreciated the thoughtfulness of the cleaning staff to leave you water, towels, and stuff in a bag on your door even when you don’t need cleaning. The onsen is good but be aware it’s a pretty basic one that is the size of a small swimming pool.

Overall, good value. Good service. Nice vibe when you enter the hotel. Clean rooms. I really liked the yukata from this hotel. I wanted to bring one home. Good onsen. Nice room, good size. However, with the desk and chairs in the room, it did not make it easy to open suitcase because there wasn't a large floor space for it. Wi-Fi was spotty sometimes. Breakfast was not as nice as other hotels, not as much variety, but still good. Location was very good for what I had planned to do in Kyoto those days.

Accueil parfait. Bel hôtel calme. Déjeuner très varié et frais. Je donne un 3 étoiles pour la propreté de la chambre. Nous sommes restés 5 nuits et à notre arrivée, il y avait une frite au pied d’un meuble et elle est restée là 2 jours. Notre table n’a pas été nettoyée 1 journée et la femme de ménage a laissé une de ses guenilles à ménage sur l’étui de toilette de mon conjoint. La propreté de l’hôtel, autre que notre chambre, était parfaite.

I liked the interior of the property. The room looks nice. However the one thing I don’t like is the location as there is basically nothing much going on where the hotel is. When it is at night there are almost nothing you can eat around the hotel. Also I don’t like the fact that when you walk to where the lifts are you are forced to go past the smoking areas. It is not close to train station as well and takes 10 mins to walk to the nearest train station. That’s why I won’t stay in this hotel again due to its inconvenience
