Very nice hotel ! Modern and clean! Super efficient staff! Very kind to any of our demands and careful to all our needs The rooms are of good dimensions for Japanese standards.. and not super small as in other hotels . . The area around the hotel is nice , with a lot of convenience stores and walkable to several small restaurants on the side streets The reception did also an amazing job when we arrived as we had multiple reservations and multiple rooms for all our family.

Good stay at Park Hotel
Very friendly and helpful staff. We came from Tokyo with visiting relatives and they were happy with my choice. I would definitely stay again. Great location, the subway and bus lines are very close by, and walking distance to the castle.

Our hotels range from high 5 stars to mid 4 stars and this one is our favorite in terms of price, quality, convenience and cleanliness. My suggestions for anyone, especially from US are staying away from overpriced big chains and loon for newly remodeled small hotels. You’ll be surprised.

I really enjoyed my stay at Park Hotel Kyoto. It's about 1.7 miles from the Kyoto station which I walked because I didn't have too much luggage but it's also right by a local subway stop you could take as well. It wasa central location close to all the shopping and resturants. Everything was around a 1-2 mile radius. I love to travel and walk every to see things so it worked out! The hotel itself is very clean and feels high end especially for the price. The staff was very helpful and even let me receive some mail that I needed a Japan address for.
