One check in lady stressed, tried to charge me again although I’d already paid, corrected by a colleague I’d already paid, never said hello or welcome, however a helpful man did take our cases up to the room . Room very clean and very modern, bed very very comfortable, air con good , lukewarm shower sadly , went to eat on site that evening and food pleasant with good friendly staff, breakfast good , would I recommend? Would I stay here again? YES

Beautiful little city on the Mekong
Beautiful location in a beautiful city right on the banks of the Mekong. Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely be back to explore more and will use this hotel as a base.

Hotel is in the city center along the Mekong River
During our stay, it is under renovation so one can't expect much. The staff were accommodating but speaking broken English. The towels are a bit overused. The free buffet breakfast was limited.

Needs A Refurb but Location Great.
Hotel information was misleading - booked a double bed with tea / coffee making facilities but found room was twin beds and there was no kettle in the room (needed the kettle to make up the toddler's milk bottle). Went to reception and was told there was no double beds in the hotel and there was no tea / coffee making facilities in the hotel - staff pretty unhelpful so went out and purchased a kettle. As for the hotel and the restaurant it was well run down which was a pity as it has an excellent location and brilliant views of Loas and the Mekong. If this hotel had a total refurb to the hotel and restaurant and the staff had more customer focused training then it could be a fantastic hotel to stay.

Old and no one spoke English - there is a similar hotel down the street with similar name which is what I thought I had booked - beware you do not make the same mistake - ants in the bathroom -the bed was okay only
