It was a cabin in the woods. Very nice cabin. Modern amenities. But the walk to it was difficult. A gravel path, then stairs. Not for someone who has physical limitations.

We ve been going to Halcyon for years and every year there is some big change. This years changes in staffing and rules are probably by far the worst it’s been. The pools looked very dirty and the spa did not feel like a relaxing oasis that you’d expect for the prices. Our girls at the spa were lovely as people but the atmosphere felt dirty and off. The beds were super uncomfortable and the blankets looked very old and not up to spa standard. The facility was okay but I think they let anyone and everyone into the pools now. We were there for a couple nights and after the hot springs we left feeling everything but relaxed. It was VERY noisy, screaming children everywhere and very intoxicated people. I wouldn’t come here ever again if I was looking to relax. For the prices of the night stays I’d rather take my business to sparkling hills. The cabin was well kept and very large bathrooms. We were very happy with our cabin but that was pretty much it.

We had to change our vacation plans due to fires near Golden. What a delightful surprise to find Halcyon Hot Springs Resort. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Definitely would love to come back for a relaxing getaway!

Hot Springs Resort
The hot springs are good, 3 hot pools & 1 cold plunge, clean & relaxed. The chalet rooms are quiet, facing trees & lake, with a bbq on patio. I like this place.

What a wonderful facility ! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the wonderful hot spring pools ! The chalet we stayed in was very comfortable and well appointed and laid out !My wife enjoyed her treatments at the spa ! The restaurant food was fabulous ! The views of Arrow Lake were spectacular I would highly recommend a visit on your next itinerary for sure !

The property is well maintained; the cottage has everything you possibly need for a comfortable stay. The only thing I would suggest to have pools open for staying guests before regular hours, i.e. 7-9am.

The pools are the biggest reason to visit and they do not disappoint. There is a lovely trail along the lakefront. The cabin accomodation was very comfortable and spacious. My personal preference would be to include a small microwave rather than the fancy bidet toilet.
