Beautiful location. Beautiful building. Dining and outside deck beautiful. Rooms big and nice. Water pressure for sink and shower was extremely low. It was almost impossible to shower. Not sure why, but it was other rooms too. Decore a bit dated.

Lovely place, a comfortable room with good facilities. Unfortunately we only found out by email four days before we were due to arrive, that the restaurant was shut during our stay. As the resort is 20 minutes from the nearest town, it involved a 40 minute round trip to go for dinner. On a more positive note we made great use of the onsite kayaks to explore the lake.

I was travelling solo and was in the area for work. The location is a little ways out of town. Restaurant at the hotel was closed and most restaurants in town won’t deliver out to the hotel so bit of a pain to drive back in. It’s about 45 minutes round trip which isn’t terrible but after a long day of driving didn’t want to drive in and out. That aside, if I was there for a few days and able to take advantage of the lake and Surrounding outdoor activities it is would have been a great experience I’m sure……the on-site restaurant looks quite nice, but as noted it was closed when I was there. That would have made a positive difference too if it was open. Overall, would I stay there again if I’m town for one night for work - no. Would I stay there if I was in town for a few days and able to enjoy the lake and surrounding area - yes.

Hotel very smart & EXPENSIVE however we were upset to find on return to our hotel at 7pm for our evening meal experience with views over the lake ( a main advertised selling point for Hotel) that the bar & restaurant area had been closed due to “No Staff” even though we had spoken with Receptionist on check-in that afternoon advising we would be eating in restaurant. Hence our planned evening was completely ruined due to last minute dash to drive out to find food elsewhere . Unbelievable.
