Walk to Town! Bike or Bus to Beach! Charming Cottage on Quiet, Private Lane

Located on a private lane just a short walk to town and easy access to bike paths and beaches, our property is a quintessential Nantucket getaway. Our property consists of two cottages (Cottage A, Leeward and Cottage B, Windward), duplex style, with separate entrances and decks and a large shared yard (see listing #602380 for Cottage A). There is also a separate studio on the property that the owners use occasionally.

Cottage B (Windward) has two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and main living room with efficient kitchen and living space. Both bedrooms have full size beds. The deck with comfortable outdoor furniture and a Weber gas grill overlooks the large shared, nicely landscaped yard. There is also ample off-street parking. Quality linens included. Beach chairs, beach towels and small cooler bag available for use. Just bring yourself! The cottage is equipped for four (4) guests and that occupancy limit is very strict. If you have questions or concerns, please ask.

If you are traveling with small children, we can help connect you to a local rental company that can provide anything else you might need for your stay. Also ask about bike rentals!

The kitchen is efficiently updated with an LG refrigerator, compact stove, microwave and a dishwasher, and everything that you would need for a week's getaway is provided. Our Keurig coffeemaker can make a single cup using a pod, or a pot using coffee grounds.

The bathroom features marble floors and tile walls with a modern glass shower surround.

Outside you will find a large professionally landscaped yard and a convenient outdoor shower with on demand hot water and a dressing area for privacy.

While just a short walk to Main Street for shopping and dining along with the harbor area- the cottage is down a secluded lane that is quiet and a great place to relax.

WiFi and a flat screen TV with Cable TV are provided.

There is a security camera located on the end of the Cottage B overlooking the driveway area that is monitored by the hosts. There is also a motion-activated light in the same location to illuminate the driveway after dark (the light turns on temporarily and then turns off automatically). The walkway is lit by solar-powered landscape lighting and your cottage has an exterior light by the entrance that can be switched on and off from inside the cottage. Please let us know if you have any questions about these features.

We offer a discount for stays of 7 nights or more. Inquire about a monthly rental at reduced rate and no lodging tax (rental period must be more than 31 days).

With such a short season, we have a strict cancellation policy. We recommend that you consider purchasing travel insurance to mitigate the risk of disruption due to illness (including COVID), transportation issues, etc. We will try to work with you in the case of extreme circumstances but may not be able to in every situation. Thank you for understanding and planning accordingly.

The quintessential Nantucket holiday
When we were looking for a property, our daughter was staying at the White elephant but was unable to book us a room due to a convention. The “windward” cottage came up and fit every criteria.We were so pleasantly surprised when we actually got there, and saw how quaint and well maintained it us.

We had a great stay at this cute cottage! It was about a 17 minute walk into town with sidewalks. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful before we got there and the house was stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend, including lands end bedding and bathroom linens (the best!! :) would absolutely recommend this cottage and would absolutely stay here again!

Nantucket Visit
Our stay in Nantucket could not have been more perfect! This was our third summer vacationing on the island and this was by far our favorite accommodation. Kendra and Phil were very responsive before, during and after our stay. The cottage was absolutely perfect! It is not far from town to walk, buses can be easily accessible from the location, and overall everything was great. We had everything we needed as far as towels, chairs, kitchen tools, etc . The backyard was perfect for grilling, enjoying meals outside and our puppy had an absolute blast having an outdoor area, especially coming from the city. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and hosts. Thank you!

CLEAN! CLEAN! CLEAN and perfect all around!
We just finished up a week long stay at the cottage. It was a 5/5!! The cottage was cozy, yet perfectly appointed and the attention to detail was superior. We are a family of four two adults/two teens and we didn’t feel cramped or inconvenienced. It’s a perfect location to town and a perfect starting point for travel across the island. What impressed me the most was how clean the cottage was on the inside and the outside. Perfect!! Perfect!!! Perfect!! We will definitely be back!!!

Gorgeous landscaping and outdoor deck. All amenities. We walked and ubered to different places for our family wedding venue. Comfortable beds. Well appointed kitchen. Definitely uber to and from seastreak. Shared the duplex with family which made it extra fun. But each unit is set up for privacy. Spotless. Quiet.

Lifesavers
We stayed on Boyer’s Alley for a good friend’s wedding and were incredibly happy with the cleanliness and comfort of the unit. We traveled with our 16 year-old dog, and finding a pet friendly place to stay can sometimes be a challenge, so we were extremely happy to find this property. The yard is big enough for a dog to get some exercise and is beautifully manicured. The most important and best part of our stay though, was that Kendra and Phil were extremely accommodating when we were stranded on the island because of bad weather. I texted with Kendra a couple of times to see if we could extend our visit and it worked out with their rental schedule, but she was also very empathetic about our situation. I am so grateful that we found this property and hope to visit again soon!

We enjoy staying at this property so much! It is well-appointed, clean, and the deck and garden offer a lot of outside play space for our children. The furnishings are tasteful. The owners are very responsive. You are within walking distance of the restaurants and shops of Nantucket Town and the local Stop and Shop grocery store. We’ll be back!

We enjoyed the location and beautifully landscaped yard. The WAVE stops right in front of the house and it is a short walk to town. We especially enjoyed taking our 2YO to children's and jetties beaches. Both are walkable (20 to 30 minites) or a short drive.

Mini Moon Perfection!
Our stay here was perfect. My husband and I came to Nantucket for our mini moon right after our wedding. The place is close enough to down town to walk and it was very easy to find. The property was spacious and clean. The outside deck was beautiful and it was awesome to have outdoor space. The driveway was helpful, too, because we rented a car and we could easily store it in the drive. The best part was the beach chairs and towels! It was nice to have access to those and not have to worry about that. The hosts are very helpful and responsive and let you store your bags if you arrive early or leave late. The island is beautiful and though we were rarely even at the property because we were so busy, everything was perfect.

Great property for a short island trip!
The house was great for our short trip to Nantucket. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Although a little smaller than others we've stayed in before, it wasn't a problem for us as we spent most days exploring the island. The location isn't too far from town, so we were still able to walk in each day without needing a vehicle (though those traveling with children or older individuals may need a vehicle or to utilize cabs into town). Overall a great stay and I would recommend and use this property again.
