The property is nice. Slightly shady area at night but close to train station. Toilet seat broken and cut my Butt Cheek and also shower head broken and kept falling off overall a.nice place to stay for short visits

Clean and spacious
The apartment was very spacious and clean. The building is old but there is a small elevator to take your bags up the 6 flights of stairs. Kitchen had all we needed but we didn’t cook much Check in and communication with hosts was terrific. Naples is grittier than other Italian cities but the neighborhood was safe. Walkable from train station and to many restaurants. Large grocery a little walk away but fresh fruit /pastry small venders on the same block. Good place to experience the busy and loud Napoli

Great apartment, friendly host
This is a very nice apartment close to the train station. Our host was very friendly and met us when we arrived even waiting while our train was delayed. The apartment is on the fifth floor and the elevator is small. The apartment was clean and very pleasant.

Relaxing home base to visit Naples attractions
We had a lovely stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with easy access to restaurants and the central train station to reach Pompeii and other attractions near Naples. Communication with the hosts was easy, responsive, and clear, and they were right on time to greet us on arrival.

When I checked into the apartment, the air conditioning did not work properly and for 3 hours I tried to beg the owner to come and check it. And he would not come and I was sitting in an 85° apartment in Italy stuck and couldn't go anywhere when he finally did come. He told me that I should go get a hotel. I had no way to get attacks here or anything. I had to go out in my street and how might taxi? And he still hasn't refunded my money. He's a crook, do not rent here

The property was as advertised. It was clean and quite comfortable. I very much appreciated the washer availability. This is something I look for on longer trips now. The host was accommodating and very gracious, helping me check in and deal with some small issues that arose. I highly recommend this stay for others traveling to Naples.

Clean, good spot for the train, little dated.
Apartment was very clean and the owners were very easy to deal with. The flat is a little dated inside and did smell slightly (smoking). Bathroom is pretty small. It is located close to the train station, so great for Pompeii, but the immediate area was pretty run down, with a few groups of men hanging about.

Naples - Quite the experience!
The location of the property is great. Very close to the the train station which is convenient and strategic. We leveraged it to go to Pompeii and it was helpful for an early departure to our next destination in Amalfi. The apartment looks like it is in a rough area. My wife was frazzled by it at first but came to terms with it. The elevator is tight but well appreciated. There seems to be a lot of activity in the building but not to the level where it is bothersome. The VRBO has all the basics you need for your stay. I'd say it is priced accordingly. Napoli itself was a trip. At times, felt more like a market in Istanbul or Marrakesh - narrow streets, old buildings, many pedestrians, litter and graffiti everywhere. Very unlike Rome. While it looked rough, it was actually quite safe. We were never approached or hassled even when walking down what appeared to be dark, nasty alleys. I would never put ourselves in the same position in a US city (unless well armed). But then again, we wouldn't find ourselves exploring those areas. We did a day trip to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. Took about 45-50 minutes each way by local train. Also walked down to the Marina and took a ferry to Capri. Capri is a different world compared to Naples - extreme opposites - "High End" We made sure we tested some of the world renown pizzerias. While prepared differently, all tasted fantastic. We were not disapointed. We spent 3 nights in Naples which suited us quite well.

Nice central location
This apartment has a good location close to the central train station and can act as a launchpad for discovering Napoli and the surrounding area. It is spacious in areas, bedrooms and living/dining rooms, but tight in the bathroom and kitchen. The place was clean and tidy for our arrival. The only concerns are related to the building itself NOT the apartment. Upon entering from the street we felt major reservations because the lobby was filthy, untidy, and overall in bad condition. The 6 floors are served by a tiny rickety elevator (my wife chose to walk up and down the 5 floors). The building has many short term residences and there is a fair amount of building noises from people talking in the stairwell, slamming doors and from the rooftop patio, which you can only access if you stay with a separate B&B that occupies a few floors. There seemed to be a lot of construction work going on which was very loud during the day. Inside the apartment it is “good”, outside “iffy”.

Not perfect, but very good!
Very clean, tho’ had to wait a bit for it to be done, so could not check in at 2pm. Felt very spacious. Beds quite firm. Sconces on either side of larger bed did not work. Quiet due to not facing the street, but who needs a view when the inside looks so nice? Did not notice a microwave, but there was a toaster oven. AC was wonderful, as it was unusually warm for October. I agree w/ other reviewers who said the streets were somewhat sketchy: would not go out alone at night. However, location so near to Garbaldi train station & sidewalk eateries was great. Wish I’d known what one reviewer wrote about the rooftop patio ~ the 6th floor is a B&B, so we were hesitant to go up there, thinking it was private for their guests only. The lift is very small, a tight squeeze for two tall people, each w/ a medium suitcase & backpack. But overall we enjoyed our stay, a quiet, convenient location to many of Naples’ highlights & very reasonably priced.

Summer Vacation with young kids
We stayed with 4 young kids for a few nights. The apartment was great, it was several floors up but we had no problem with luggage given the lift. Host was easy to communicate with, very responsive and accommodating. The location I have mixed feelings on. We picked the area as it was near the train station, wanted base to make it easy to get to other areas, as well as walking with our luggage and the kids. For that it was great. We had great pizza at a couple of nearby places. Check in and check out were easy. Sharing my thoughts on the area though as they differs a bit from other reviews. This is on location only, NOT the apartment or the host. It was difficult to walk any distance at all without stepping on trash, and any grassy areas completely covered with litter. We didn’t have much luck finding a market nearby that had what we’d consider basics (ex: diapers, milk for the baby). We didn’t notice as much police presence as another reviewer mentioned. Some recent traveler reviews of other nearby restaurants that we were looking at visiting mentioned having been robbed in eve, made me hesitant to go out and just walk with the kids in the eve. I’d stay again as the host and apt are great. Just would’ve planned differently. I wouldn’t have left as much down time in our vacation plans to explore nearby, given all that there is to see and do in the region. Thank you Elizaveta for being a great host!

Great place near the Train station
We decided to stay by the train station because we had some big bags and no car. This place is a hidden gem, not only because it is large and nice, but also because there is a rooftop patio directly above. The patio is part of a hotel/club but they allow residents up there and were very nice to me. Great view and good food there. Naples can be a bit disconcerting after dark but having this in the building was very good. Just make sure to ask at the front desk on the 6th floor first if it is ok to eat there as it is subject to how crowded they are.

The property hosts were very easy to communicate with, very responsive and helpful! Apartment was clean and comfortable. Location was good if you want to be near the central train station. Outside the building was a little rough, but we had no issues. Overall good stay!

Convenient location
We had a lovely time! We landed in Rome and took the train to Naples. We chose this apartment for the proximity to the Napoli Centrale train station, and after a very long day of travel appreciated the convenience of a short walk to the apartment from the train station. We got in rather late on our first night and our host was so accommodating even for our late arrival. We did some sight-seeing around Naples and the apartment was within easy walking distance. We also took the train to Pompeii and appreciated how close to the train station we was for accessing nearby sights to see.

A brilliant place. Excellent location for travelling the city
It is close to Garibaldi Station, and like most major cities around the world it is a great location and has a few rough edges as a location for trains and metro. The property itself is surprisingly quiet, spacious, immaculately clean and had good amenities. The host communicated well and I would recommend to friends as a location if asked. We enjoyed a lot from this lovely apartment.

Quiet setting in busy Naples
