The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is excellent. Parking is plentiful and easy. The hotel could use a makeover, it’s a little tired. The 2nd floor deck could use more seating and tables. The front lawn could use some Adirondack chairs so you can sit and enjoy the ocean view. The motel portion of the property off the back of the hotel is basic. Our room had a stale musty smell. The bathroom was large, but needs some finishing touches and more lighting and counter top space. The partial-ocean view would be better if cars were not permitted to park adjacent to the sitting area outside the rooms. Given the room rate, I expect more amenities and more than a very basic room. There isn’t really much of a breakfast, so I would stop advertising the room as breakfast included. But you can’t beat the location in Narragansett.

Staff was kind and friendly, but this place is totally run down. The bathroom was dingy and had strange holes that were patched poorly. The AC unit was extremely loud and not effective. The whole place needs an extreme makeover.

We were happy with our stay at Atlantic House. The location is wonderful it was clean, comfortable and friendly. I would think, however, with the price one pays to stay there, that maybe a little protein could be provided for breakfast?? Maybe some fresh fruit??

This property is very dated and does not have much to offer guests. The rooms and hallways are in desperate need of updating. There is really no public space. The breakfast is a bag of grocery store bagels and two kinds of cereal. The property has a gorgeous front lawn that is begging for adirondack chairs or something to make it useful

Good place great view, felt like we were a bother.
Room was nice. Enjoyed the patio. Just wish we didn’t have an outside light blaring in at us when trying to relax outside. Enjoyed the mini breakfast offered. So did kids. I just wish they would check on rooms though out our stay. We felt like we were bothering staff so we didn’t ask them to come take our trash, which we had to do as they don’t go in your room to tidy up or anything. Claiming Covid rules. But it’s 2024.

This motel is across the street from the ocean. It is in a great location. My room was a small mediocre motel room and the partial ocean view was mostly the parking lot. The breakfast was sugary cereal and bagels. The room was clean.

What a location
We had a great stay @ Atlantic House in gansett. Walking distance to several resturaunts, beach. Great Ocean View. Loved it. I suggest you try it.

Great room, friendly staff, carpet odor.
It’s a great place in a great location. The staff were friendly and efficient. The only downside was the smell of the room. I think it has to do with being so close to the ocean and I’m sure a lot of wet things are continually put on the carpeted floor. You might want to think about installing vinyl flooring. It would be a lot easier to keep clean and odor free.
