The property its self was quite nice. However upon exiting the elevator on the 2nd floor and going into the hallway it literally smelled like a barn yard….and yes I know what a barn yard smells like as I spent many a day on our family farm growing up. Also the cable TV in my room didn’t work. I called the front desk and told them and left for a bite to eat and when I came back it still wasn’t working. I called the front desk yet once again and I was told that they had called their cable operator but there was nothing that they could do for my room however I could switch rooms. I decided that at 10:00pm it wasn’t worth my time and I was able to cast my iPad which I had YouTube TV to the screen in the room. When I was getting ready to leave in the AM I mentioned it to the front desk clerk and asked if they could comp my valet parking and I was told that no that was done by a separate company. She did offer me a free complimentary breakfast meal certificate so I headed over to the area where they served the food. There were about 10 people in the area but nobody at the bar / counter. I asked another person and was told that the guy was running around. About 15 to 20 minute later he showed back up and when I said I wanted to order he told me that they closed at 10:00am. I left at 10:15 am so I was there before 10am the server guy just wasn’t out there to take my order. I went back to the front desk lady and told her about what just happened told me to call the manager

Property was new and clean, but body wash and conditioner were empty, which I didn't find out until I was in the shower. The service in the restaurants was SLOW and the server in the lobby had dirty fingernails, which was disgusting. Property is about a 20-minute walk to downtown and the neighborhood had nothing around it.

Bad staff makes a bad business
Entry doors were locked when I arrived. I stood in the lobby and watched as 3 employees at the front desk ignored me. 2 of which looked directly at me and then back down at their phones. I guess their conversations and phones were more important than providing customer service. Once both of them left the last eventually came and let me in. This was probably a 10-15 minute interaction. The rooms were great but don’t trust the human staff to take care of you. I will not be coming back nor recommending.

Broadway downtown is walkable, abt 1 mile (1.6km). Division Street is just a few blocks away. Hattie B's hit chicken is 2-3 blocks from hotel. Had a great brunch at HiFI Clydes, 1 block and Chick Fil A is even closer. The Rux on the hotel's roof had good food and service. It was closed 2nd night of my stay for a private event, not really much alternative within the hotel. Patterson House on Division St is great for cocktails. I wouldn't recommend driving to Broadway in the evening , heavy traffic there. Walk Uber or take a scooter. No free parking on Church St , but plenty on side streets if you don't mind walking 2 blocks or so

Stayed for 3 nights for a girls trip! Rooms were clean and comfy. We couldn’t hear other hotel guests from in our room, which was nice. Staff was great. Dined at the rooftop restaurant our first night and that was good! Would recommend and would stay again.

First, front desk - Spencer specifically, I’ll never walk into a Cambria (Nashville or anywhere else) because he was childish, rude and cold. Rooms are small, barely have drawers but are tolerable. WiFi barely works if you need it. And the breakfast. If you want to be sick eat here. Defrosted breakfast meats and cold eggs included. The health department should really check this place out. Homeless people in the view of your window and adult shops nearby leave this place with a classless feel. The valet staff and a few other staffers are the only reason it’s not all 1 stars. Never again. Not even at $1 a night.

Location isn't bad for room price if you don't mind walking or scootering. Wasn't impressed to pay $40 a day for parking in midtown though. $22 breakfast in lobby seemed too steep for the offering. A trip down the block to Hi-Fi Clydes for breakfast is a must - same price after tip, amazing menu, service and atmosphere. CorkDorks next store was also a helpful store for our stay. Rooms were pretty, but bathroom door was missing handle, chips in the bathtub. Fridge is in cupboard, so it overheats, not allowing fridge to run nice and cold. Asked for more K-Cups, were brought just coffee cups? Reception was average, low energy service, but helpful and kind. I would stay here again if I couldnt find something as affordable closer to downtown.
