Average stay

It was a fine stay. The rates aren't expensive, which was much appreciated, and it was relatively quiet. It is by the highway, so it can get a bit noisy at night, but it generally didn't bother me. I will say that the lobby and hallways had a strange smell, which honestly didn't bother me as the rooms smelled fine. I'd say it's a pretty standard hotel that's by the highway. I left my apple watch in the room and I had to call three times after we'd checked out to ask if they'd found it (I was hung up on twice and told to call back later...the attendant may have been on a personal phone call like they were during our entire check-in process lol), and they couldn't give me an answer and asked me to "look at my app" or something (aka it's lost forever). The staff were fine while we stayed there, just don't leave anything behind!

You dont need to stay there!

Terrible experience, dirty, dark room, rusty, abandoned, terrible breakfasts (waffles): me and my kids got sick from those awful waffles and my girl couldn't play because stomach sickness, so bad because that why we went there, softball tournament. Whe i made the check in, the front desk guy, wanted to over charge me for $24 "in cash only"... He refused to charge that on my card and he didn't want to charge me for that when i complained about it. TERRIBLE experience!.

Never Again

We had stayed at this hotel several times in the past as it is a halfway point on our trips from Northern Indiana to Southern Georgia, but never again. When we checked in we were assigned a room and when we got there, two people were using it as a temporary hangout place. We got a new room. When we got to it, there were several issues. ● The bathroom sink was filthy. We realized that the drain was clogged so when it eventually drained all the gunk collected in the sink. ● The TV was unplugged. When I plugged it in the remote did not work. ● The bedside alarm clock was unplugged. When I plugged it in there was intermittent static the result of a bare spot in the electrical cord. Instead of replacing the clock they simply unplugged it hoping no one would plug it in and get shocked. ● Hallway carpeting looked like it had not been vacuumed in several weeks. We left as quickly as we could the following morning

The people, super friendly and as accommodating as they could be with the limits of the hotel. It’s not clean. I feel like it was a complete bait and switch! 8.2 rating has to be MASSIVELY inflated!! There was some kind bodily waste in the elevator. The hallways smelled like cooking food. There is NO ICE MACHINE…Bucket & bag I the rooms but no ice available…never had a hotel not have ice. Continental breakfast is a hint of what a gas station would have. That stocked convenience area…bottles of water and I think a couple from Michelina meals and some ramen noodles. My reservations were screwed up, partially my fault but I was in town for my grandma’s funeral and the hotel called to tell me I was supposed to be checked out!! Awful and really I had no choice at the time other than to just pay. This crappy hotel ended up costing me $600 for 2 rooms for 3 nights. My Expedia total for the 2 rooms was $400. I won’t stay at this hotel again unless they start to have the amenities they advertise. I. Could’ve stayed at a MUCH nice hotel for the amount I ended up spending.

Excellent front desk staff both friendly and available, cheap and skimpy continental breakfastbarely had enough coffee 1 hour into service, pool and all ice machines out of order which we didn't know of when we booked and never got fixed throughout our stay, halls stunk as did elevator, clean sheets, comfy pillows

Staff did not take care of the breakfast buffet. One day there was no coffee and we had to ask a staff member to make more. Another day, the buffet was poorly stocked. Out of cereal and danish rolls.

Loved the bigger sized room

First off the location is great! Its right off the interstate with lots of restaurants in the area. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful. He even came up to the room and helped us figure out the TV. The room was a really nice size and clean. The beds slept well. The complementary breakfast was pretty good. The hotel could use a few more updates but you can tell they have been working on that.

Do Not Book: One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was due to it having an indoor pool, and we were traveling with our kids. However, when I asked how late the pool was open, I was told that it was “closed for the season”. Then when we arrived at our room, it appeared that the pillows were all 12x12 couch throws. So then I asked the front desk clerk for normal sized pillows. He could only find one. Upon returning to the room, I was grabbing a pillow off the couch to “double up on the bed”, and realized they were rolled up and the pillow case was folded into itself. Now I’m wondering why the front desk clerk is unaware of this practice, but ok. Then for the continental breakfast, there was no juice available in the machine. The desk clerk (morning shift) was unaware of how to change/fix the fact that only water was coming out of the spout. The owner arrived once we were completely done with our breakfast. While I understand and can appreciate that this is a “budget” location, having the minimum of what your posts say the amenities are for your property is best practice. We booked this location, as it was affordable and “had the amenities” we were specifically looking for. Buyer beware…
