This property is good no more than an overnight stay. I let the front desk know of the casualties we dealt with in the first 15 - 20 minutes of being in our room (mind you it was a later check in… 8:45-9:00PM). The room temp was a bit chilly, so my husband adjusted the thermostat in our room a few degrees warmer. The heater started making all these snap/crackling noises and a burning smell… went on for like a minute or so. All of a sudden the smoke alarm was going off. I went to grab the room phone to call the front desk, didnt work! Theres an “on” button on the handset that I pressed… no dial tone, just an echo of my voice. (Smoke alarm still sounding… my husband trying to figure out WTH was going on). He finally gets it to stop and Im on my cell calling the hotel from outside. I have a person from reservations on the line who had to transfer me to the front desk. I let them know the ordeal that we were having and she was unaware of the smoke alarm. Safe to say, we will not be staying at the Drury again… for safety reasons, if nothing else.

This hotel was very clean and welcoming. The staff are very friendly. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The amenities are good. We would definitely stay here again.
