We enjoyed our stay but they hosted private holiday parties both nights we were there so we couldn’t use the lobby which makes the other areas very cramped and crowded…So basically you can’t use your hotel for dining. There was too long of a wait to get in. It was also very loud because of it. Had we known we would have chosen another hotel. The entire lobby was blocked off… not ok for the price.

Great weekend getaway
In for a long weekend. Loved the property, classy older property. Loved the coffee house on property and rooftop bar. Room was smallish, but we expect that older hotels. Walkable to everything.

I travel a lot, took my daughter here for her birthday trip, and we had the very very best experience and trip!! This is one of the best thought out hotels-! We loved the coffee bar on our floor!!! I wish our room was a bit larger but otherwise, this place is a solid 10 easy!

Unlikely to book again. The bed sheets were not clean, I allowed room service to come in and they still weren't changed when I came back for the night. Room service definitely came in and tidied up the room, but didn't give me fresh sheets. Oddly, they knocked on my door and asked me if room service had been in - you mean you don't know which rooms they did, and which they didn't? The room wasn't as functional as I would have liked. I come to Nashville on business, and the desk in the room was about 20-24 inches wide and oval, not really a suitable workspace... The garbage cans were tiny, even though I don't spend a considerable amount of time in the room, the garbage was overflowing. The shower was also an issue. The lever for temperature kept falling down and would not stay in position (so I'd put it in place where I liked it and it'd gradually fall downward and scold me). Also, I am sure it must have said on Expedia in the fine print somewhere, but I was blindsided when I showed up to the hotel and they told me they're going to pend $200 a day for incidentals, nearly doubling the bill. I haven't experienced this at other hotels in the area so I was a little taken aback. The hotel is "pretty" but... probably won't be back. There's other hotels nearby more suited to my needs.
