Not sure if my 1st review was posted but to sum it up hospitality and customer service was great. The place itself appears dingy and VERY MOTEL like. Pictures shown when I first booked were NOT THE ONES that are now online for reference. So beware of that...Everything appears much bigger in pictures and nicer. The KING size inside entrance rooms are better than the ones on the outside. I did not try free bkfast so am not able to speak about that. Other than that, with the right shoes, you can make a right and walk down three blocks towards Broadway and you will see the beginning of all the fun!

Pros;Good location Cons; housekeeper left our door wide open after cleaning good thing nothing was missing from our room. rooms are not very clean, no fan in the bathroom and makes the room grossly humid especially cause you can open a window, bathroom sliding door is very heavy to close and loud when it does close Elevators are located in the parkade, if you are planning on staying definitely make sure you have the upgraded suites which is what we had upon arrival to our suite the door to one of the non upgraded rooms and am sure glad we had the updated one. I would recommend if you are looking for a less expensive room definitely would suggest a apartment hotel there is one right next door

Great location, clean room, and friendly staff
The location was great, room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. It was a little small, but was great overall. You cant park your own car and have to pay $30 per night for valet parking.

It’s the people! What an outstanding staff! I started at the Grand Hyatt but had to extend my stay in Nashville due to work meeting and booked a room at Capital. It’s obviously not the Grand Hyatt, as cost would reflect. If you’re in this price point and looking for a nice stay in Nashville I would recommend it just based on the service and staff. The breakfast wasn’t bad either!

What we liked was it was Downtown Nashville. What was concerning was it was easy to hear what was going on outside in hallway. Couple had a fight early in the AM and we were woken by it.

Room doors do open to a breeze way much like a motel. Key required to access elevators and floor. Although this set up seemed odd, we felt safe. Valet parking was secure. Room was clean and spacious enough for a girls weekend. Continental breakfast offered. Walking distance to Bridgestone arena and Broadway. Would stay again. Can’t beat the price and convenience.

Expected better for $300/night
Check-in was a bit rough; I didn’t have the undivided attention of the front desk. She kept talking and joking with her coworkers. Mandatory valet parking $30/night was a lot, yet still cheaper than other hotels in the area. Valet was great, super helpful. Property is old, outdoor motel style corridors and generally run down. Decor appears 20-30 years old. Elevator inside lobby for employee use only; guests had to use the one outside in parking area. Room was clean; housekeeping does a great job but updates desperately required. Bed was awful, frames broken and make a ton of noise, bed wasn’t level and sagged on one side. Uncomfortably hot polyester sheets don’t breathe. Nowhere to sit but the beds if you wanted to watch tv. Bathroom had a sliding barn door that barely slid, and when you could get it moving made a loud grinding noise. Could clearly hear conversations from guests in adjacent room. Glad I brought earbuds to drown out other guests and the traffic noises. Complimentary breakfast was adequate. Bar was convenient, bartenders and musicians were the best part of the hotel experience. Decent pizza next door is the only real food option in the immediate area. It’s obvious management/corporate are stingy with maintaining the property while in general the staff does their absolute best. We unfortunately experienced cockroaches in our room on the last night. The big one got away before we could kill/photograph it. Super disconcerting.

It was just perfect for 4 girls hitting broadway for the long weekend! Staff was friendly, breakfast was satisfying, and the room was comfortable and neat!
